Nah CZW is just needless gore and carnage. It’s barely watchable unless you’re just a masochist. A lot of the AEW hardcore stuff is dumb but at least there’s story behind it.
As a former professional wrestler I can say for a fact that being slammed on thumbtacks does not hurt. Now removing them is a different story. Barbed wire hurts no matter what and we don't "gimmick" the barbs because it's unsafe to have it blunted. Chair shots to the head don't hurt IF you take it on the ridge of the forehead. Light tubes hurt like hell. Table spots can be dangerous especially if the table isn't gimmicked. That's the reason I had to stop. I took a full nelson bomb onto a table on the outside of the ring and the table didn't sell. Broke my tailbone and gave me some back issues. I'm was 330lbs so it sucked.
