No surprise you're on the same wavelength. Two of my favorite channels with hilarious and intelligent conversations, and probably enough knowledge to give at least a couple zoology lectures.
12:56 as a southeast Asian,we do have multiple stories of ape cryptids. Some are told to be human sized but some are like 8-9ft tall, don't know if you'll believe me but I did saw one when I was young.
Didn’t he have a spider-monkey alien he transformed into? I thought Casual was referring to that when he said one of Ben’s 10. Edit: He did have a monkey alien, it was literally called spider-monkey. 😅
6:20 most zoos are extremely important to conservation efforts. A lot of the ones that have gibbons or apes participate in breeding programs to keep the species alive! 21:14 I forget where and when, but there was a gibbon decades ago who was known for yoinking people's glasses because his arms were long and fast
Yeah it really annoys me that people think zoos are strictly animal abuse when in reality they are highly important rehab/conservation centers for animals that can’t make it in the wild and breeding sanctuaries for saving species that are at risk of extinction.
There's also another video that Casual Geographic posted before this one about baby elephants and more so elephants and its relationship with humans so i'll highly recommend it! Also great video!
I hope we eventually have Casual Geographics reacting to this video and commenting, the synergy between him and our Saucy Jack were off the charts in this one.
Hey Chill W video you should You should also check out “your life as a…” series by James Toland as recommended by Casual Geographic on his Lion guide video which was in a similar style. Would recommend just watching from old to new as they sometimes follow up on things from a previous video
Im sorry, Asian equivalent of Orangutans???? I don’t know if i heard you correctly, english is my 3rd language, btw, but that is a rather odd saying. Is indonesia and Malaysia not asian?????
What are you implying/insinuating about the people from the southeast Asia regions? Think carefully about your reply, because your lack of English proficiency isn't the cause of how you react towards them.
@DomFortress I meant to say that he refers Gibbons as asian equivalents to Orangutan, which is rather odd since both species are Asian already. I'm Malaysian myself and I find it quite strange
@aeonmatter6976 there's 3 different sub species of orangutans, while gibbons are more widely spread throughout rest of Asia. Your Malaysian ethnocentric bias isn't applicable to the rest of Asia at large. For example, whilst "orangutans" means "men of the forest" in Malayan, in my traditional Mandarin Chinese it's written in characters that means "long arms apes", not "men of the forest". And since Gibbons are known for their long arms, they fit the description equally as orangutans.
I'm sure @DomFortress come from a place of misunderstanding. Tho I find the inertia and sharpness concerning. Especially when it presumes a black heart in the first place.

And I'm *convinced* Curious George is actually a gibbon. He can't be a monkey, he has no tail.
Close guess, but no. Chimp.
10:20
Now I need someone to draw this kind of Gibbon as a Ben 10 alien. Amp-Ape could be a good name

I'm sure jack knows that, it's just that all zoos aren't created equal unfortunately.
That's proper zoo's, yeah
In my country we have traveling zoos and you can be sure they don't treat animals well
@@Syntex366some sure, usually accredited zoo’s, but non-accredited zoos are still quite common and they don’t often treat their animals the best.
Gibbons always were my favorite ape
Mine is Orangs but gibbons are right up there with me
Not sure if Spider monkeys are gibbons but they rank hige for me :P
11:00 Still Dre monke remix goes hard
About time he did a video about my favorite animal
There's also another video that Casual Geographic posted before this one about baby elephants and more so elephants and its relationship with humans so i'll highly recommend it!

You might even say that,
_its 9mm goes bang_
19:00 took me way too long that he had to use the bullet size, to explain to americans how big 9mm is.

@@ultimaxkom8728 you mean your own superficial platitude isn't concealing cynicism? As above, so below.
