VisualSounds1 ASMR no can do unfortunately. This was a while ago so I don’t have the patterns anymore. But rest assured I am no expert. Very much an amateur myself
Ana Esteves I don't have a tutorial on this unfortunately, but I cut out stiff cushion foam into the belt shape, then slipped a tube of white spandex material (stretched very tight) over the top. The buckle in the middle is made out of a styrofoam ball and a styrofoam ring :) thank you very much for the support! :)
Instead of using the elastic and clips to attach my boots to the leg parts, I used Velcro because it was easier for me to put it on and off and it stays well. I hope this helps someone!
Thanks so much! I make my own cosplays and I couldn’t figure out how to make the uraraka shoes, but thanks for the vid, once I’m done making a bakugo and Deku cosplay I’ll be making this
Hey I'm thinking of making this outfit soon, your tutorial is super helpful! My questions are just how long did this take to make? And where do you buy those big pieces of foam I haven't the slightest idea :') Also do you need to have a heat gun for it or will a hairdryer work? Thanks in advance and I adore your outfit it's so cute :D
Bubbly Sugar thanks so much for the kind words :) it took me 6 months to complete because I'm lazy. So all up it was about a months worth of hard work haha. The foam came from a foam store (Clark rubber in Australia), but they're like gym floor mats. So anywhere that sells sports stuff might have them too. Craft stores are worth a try. Unfortunately a hairdryer won't work at all. It's gotta be a heat gun because they get way hotter. They're not overly expensive though :)
Im making my daughters accessories for her Uraraka bodysuit we bought. Im trying to figure out what materials to use for the belt and wrist bracelets, what did you use? We are going to Megacon Orlando in May so trying to get it all made now.
Chloe Happytobshopn I used soft cushion foam for the belt, cut it to shape and covered it with REALLY tightly stretched spandex leftover from making the suit. The buckle is styrofoam painted pink, just bought a ball and a ring and glued em together:) there’s elastic between the buckle and belt so I could get it on. Also no go on the convention, I’m based in Aus so i can’t make it that far unfortunately
@@EllenJayneTaylorr I thought about using styrofoam for the wrist cuffs too. Great idea! I found your tutorial on the wrist cuffs on aminoapps I think it is. This is my first go at making things like this, with your info I think I will be okay. Saw your videos on bodysuit and boots, they were brilliant! U look amazing. Love the full costume look. Thanks again.
omg thank you for showing how you attatched the boots to the boots (? you know) cause i've made mine and they KEEP SLIDING OUT you are a godsend thank youuuu! I made mine by following your first tutorial then covered them in expanding foam so they're super big! Can I ask how did you make the bracelets? I'm having real trouble... xx
DH Chaser thank you for sticking around for part two!!!!!! You're the greatest. And I LOVE the idea of using expanding foam! Do you have an Instagram or something I can follow? I'd love to see how they went :O and you're in luck! I have a tutorial on the bracelets here: aminoapps.com/p/k3h254
WatermEllen yeah my Insta is DHChaser, Its not got cosplay on it ATM, but my Facebook page does :) Dhcosplay! the boots are a little difficult to walk in ATM, but working on it!x
I'm having a really hard time having the draft boots curve properly , I (think) i did everything correct when making the first draft boot with the bad foam . And I can't get the knee cap to form correctly . I'm just so lost and I thought it would go fine !! Halloween is approaching 😭
Smashtitan Skye hmm, it's hard to know what's not going correctly without seeing it for myself. Is there a way you could show me? Also did you check out the links I left for Evil Ted Smiths instructions? He's a lot better at explaining this whole process than I am and there's heaps of info and tips packed in. Hope to hear back soon :)
Question since ive been on you Amino to see the other tutorials when do you plan on posting a belt or neck piece tutorial im cosplaying Uraraka this year and i have no clue how to go about part of the belt. And i was just curious of how you made your neck part.
brenna cather thank you! ✨ I cut out the shape I wanted 3 times from cheap yoga mat foam, stacked and glued them, sanded them, used spakfilla to hide the layers, primed then painted it :)
jolene liew thank you. The belt was made with soft foam and covered in spandex material. The centre piece was styrofoam and I could just slip the whole belt over my head
UM SO HOW MUCH MONEY WOULD YOU WANT IF YOU WERE TO MAKE A COSTUME FOR SOMEONE ELSE?? (I have no costume making experience but I would love to have this cosplay)
sophia1206a gaming so I had a similar problem with my test boot, but I just made adjustments there. So I cut down the half of the boot that was a little taller. It depends on how different each of the halves are. That’s why I did a test boot, adjusted the things that were wrong, then made the final boots 👢
Alexa Kristina sorry, the only image of the pattern I have is the camera shot of the pattern cut up in this video. I didn't put the pattern up because measurements would be different for different base shoes and legs :(
You deserve more attention, that type of content is brilliant. I'm a fan of MHA, and the first character I cosplayed is Uraraka on her uniform attire. I purchase my costume from senpaimart.com/collections/korekushon/products/boku-no-hero-academia-u-a-high-class-uniform because they have high-quality anime merchandise. I love to cosplay her with the suit. I'll try to make the boots too.
PLEASE share the pattern! Even if it's custom fit to you it'd be SO HELPFUL for amateurs like myself 🙏😭

Well yours turned out fab anyway! I bought some EVA foam today so fingers crossed I can master it :') Thanks for replying anyhoo~
VisualSounds1 ASMR sorry I couldn’t be of more help. GOOD LUCK! 💪✨
Being that cute should be illegal, I had to put Aizawa sunglasses on to avoid being blindsmashed
This was so helpful! I'm cosplaying bubble girl (she hasn't appeared in the anime yet) and she has similar boots
Eripon's Biceps ooh that will be really awesome! Good luck!
What a cool cosplay! I'm currently working on creating my own Ochako, so fingers crossed, it looks as good as yours. Awesome work 😁
NerdyFox1223 that sounds amazing! And that's very nice of you to say, thank you :) I wish you luck ! ☺️
Hello!
If you allow me to ask, how did you make the belt of Uraraka? Thanks!!!
Obs.: You're so amazing! Congratulations on the beautiful cosplay!

Ella the potato I've got a tutorial on my amino page, here aminoapps.com/p/k3h254 for the cuffs. Nothing on the neck piece or belt unfortunately :(

Alexa Kristina sorry, the only image of the pattern I have is the camera shot of the pattern cut up in this video. I didn't put the pattern up because measurements would be different for different base shoes and legs :(
What was the thick foam that you used?
ダイヤモンドGalaxy it’s used for gym floors and stuff. But in hindsight, any foam that’s thinner than what I used will be easier to work with
WatermEllen would yoga matts be okay?
ダイヤモンドGalaxy yeah the test boot I made out of a yoga mat worked fine, so yeah :)
Can you make this available offline?
how much does it cost?
WHERE DID YOU GET THE WIIIIIIIIG???
Me waiting for part 3
Hot CoCo a part that will unfortunately not arrive 🙇♀️
