    once you've made a bale it should net the bale automatic you shouldn't need to press the button everytime and keep a bottle of talcum powder for the rubber net roller stops the net from sticking. Great outfit keep it up

    Spray a bit of silicone lube spray onto the net sensor arm,will work a treat! Running 440 balers the past 7 years,best Baler to take any grass

    Great to watch a master tractor/machinery man in action, well done Gerry. Hope your right about the weather coming up, could do with a dry spell in north Midlands as well, a lot of grass still to be saved here.

    Don’t think I’ve ever seen stuff baled up as fast. There’s no doubt something will eat them bales later in the year. You need to add a wrapper to the collection now..... thanks for another great video.

    Gerry.we have the same issue with grass falling on ground while netting the bale. If you back up after netting the bale before you drop the bale you will collect the grass into the next bale

    Good stuff G. It is hard to beat having your own gear to catch the weather windows. The baler looks like a great purchase. It would be nice to see a video of this years calves to see how they are getting on. Keep up the great work.

      Yes these Bx kverneland swarters are probably the best on the market. Doesn’t matter If your in light or heavy grass, wet or dry. Going up hill or down.... the just work

    Wrapper now for the 2850 and you'll be all set, did you get the bale that decided to head for road back? Would be typical for it to roll through a fence

    Great action Gerry,like the music choice also.Wondering if she rolls the first part of the bale tight or does it do what the McHale does and have a soft middle!!?? The McHale doesn't seem to roll the ball until it has formed about the first quarter of it.🤔

      Yes a contractor does wrapping. Most time I’m not there when wrapping is going on.

      Some of his machinery is a fair age but he looks after it so well it all looks bran new 👌👌👌👌

      Maybe because they are wise with their money they know when to buy and when not to buy. Also They look after their machinery meticulously, no machines lying out in the weather over winter And in general the whole farm is a credit to them . Even look how neatly they put the tyres on the silage pit it looked like a jigsaw . Probably the tidiest and best run operation ive seen from all these farming youtubers, followed closely by IFarmWeFarm 👌🏻👌🏻

      farm & countryside photography 150kg of CAN per acre, 2500 gallons of slurry per acre and usually give it about 8 weeks growing.... weather depending. I’m in co. Louth 😊👍

      Young Farmer Will never worked it out. I know it’ll be lot less now as swamped the gear box round to 540 rpm position on the mower and i can mow now in 540E.
