I'd definately join the club. I can imagine it being a safe space. That's a hobby I wanna invest in, just need to work a bit harder to afford the books. I mean its self empowernment and that's something I have to invest in now in my early 30s

Hi Kat please help , i am not a reader but I want to start reading more books . This year i bought a book by Khaya Dlanga To quote my self . I really enjoyed that book . My second one was slay in your lane by Yomi and Elizabeth yey I am struggling to finish it so i dont know if I enjoyed the memoir by Khaya Dlanga because I know of him on social media because i am struggling to finish this one.I would like to find out which books would you suggest for someone who’s starting on this journey that will help in reading more books or does this also depends on ones interests?Thank you in advance Kats
You know reading incl magazines, journal articles, newspapers and comic books. Just find your niche and read that. It doesn't have to be an actual novel 😅 just pick up and read ...
Theres so many, I'll have to consider possibly doing a video about it. But The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho is a great start. Homecoming by Yaa Gyasi is also very good, they are great books but easy reads to get through too, not complex at all :)
