This has been tremendously beneficial to me! Thank you so much for these videos! To other aspiring vocalists, I highly recommend slowing the video down to .75 or .5 if you’re finding it challenging. I’ve been slowing them down and working my way up to full speed with incredible results. I never knew I could develop my range and vocal control like I’m experiencing today.
@@sawyer254Been using for a few months and it's made my comfortable range a few semitones higher and it's also given me more control of my headvoice and mixing it.
Now I know why I'm slightly uneasy watching theses videos. When we had a HUGE earthquake here my Lava light fell off the shelf and almost knocked me unconscious! Mystery solved.
Yikes! Waist high or lower! Come to think of it, I have mine right over the SiX, that would be rather unfortunate should it fall on it! Thank you! Jeff
Thank you very much for the Baritone content you provide. Music is my greatest passion and you're helping me express that passion with less limitation.
A really fun exercise! It's been awhile since I've taken charge and decided to do some warm-ups every morning, and your videos are going to be a great help in this. Thank you so much!
There it is! Fantastic Mr.Rolka. Thank you. I have been warming up with you for 3 years now, and will be warming up with you in April for my Junior Recital!
Wooo what a workout. When we did that middle exercise again I was like dammmnn lol. But it was good. I found when I was struggling to lip trill to do more of a staccato lip trill (lil bursts) and to really engage the upper abs to maintain separation instead of pushing elsewhere. Great vid!
Use your judgement. If I don't specifically mention doing a different warm up first at the beginning of the video, then I've structured it to not need one. That being said, if you find that you need something beforehand, listen to your voice and plan for that! Best, Jeff
Hello Patrick! In brief, work on your registration event practice, and know that this video goes over the registration event beyond the secondo passaggio. It requires quite a lot of cultivated freedom and quite significant engagement to work properly. I hope that helps! Best, Jeff

how long/how often have you been using this video? what’s your comfortable range before and after using this?

Ive been watching these for a while and using them daily, but jeff had be laughing when he said "I thought you would want to do this again".
Just as I was about to start the video over, "I thought you might like to do that again". You bet thanks!!
THATS LIT
best warmups ever

I am singing at my wedding.... I have been using these as my warmups before rehearsals and daily practice.
Right on! Good luck! My congratulations to you!
Jeff
first! Maestro, thank you for these excellent exercises, invaluable
Is this supposed to kill me? I feel my vocal folds have been stretched to another continent 😂
Be gentle with yourself! Keep in mind too, these high range videos rely on good registration event technique!
Thanks for watching!
Jeff

are we supposed to switch into falsetto at all? im new to warm ups and this kicked my ass! 😭
What is this top note? B3 OR B4? I think I may be singing in the wrong key, my voice falls out around F4 upwards
Definitely not B3! :D
Its a B4
Should we do a warm up before this to start low or is it ok to start in the upper part of the voice?

The lip trills KILL me. I think I'm not relaxed enough ever to do them right. Holding my mouth the way you do on the videos helps, though!
I feel like I just ran a mile after doing this vocal exercise ha ha ha ha
Aarrggghhhh! I really want to reach these high notes, Jeff, but my range doesn't stretch that far. What to do?
