That store has been around a very long time and the original owners broke off and started their own stores not more than a couple miles from that spot (also in New Boston). For years this place went through its ups and downs but I’ve heard wonderful things about the new owners and what they’re doing there now. It has our little town buzzing 😉. Thanks again for taking the time come out to us! We have a few other gems you should check out (Iron Mikes, McNastys bar, etc..). I think you’d enjoy them.

It IS inthe metro area. We citizens of New Boston are still paying for "someone's" thievery of water from Detroit proper. We are in WAYNE COUNTY. These hoagies are great. Just give them a try. You will LOVE them.
Big John's is a joke. I've tried several locations and they're all the same. A lot of hype. 22.00 for a 16" super. It had very few mushrooms, asked for onions not one on the sandwich, the cheese isn't anything to write home about either skimpy on the meat too and no toppings like lettuce, tomatoes unless you ask. The dressing is bottled Italian that comes on the side in a little container that you add yourself but if you want more it costs... The sub was barely warm. Like they prepared the meat ahead and just tossed a couple of canned mushroom slices on the crusty stale bun. The cheese was like the cheap processed wrapped kind that wasn't even melted all the way. Wanted to add a fried egg and was told No at big John's. Sounds like Cliff is copying from Big John's with the white cheese blend and banana peppers. Caption Nemo's in Romulus is much better. They real use provolone and make the dressing. The bread is much better too.

I grew up in Jackson Michigan, lived in Colorado for the last 25 years. Nobody here had ever heard of a party store. I miss it back there sometimes

Great looking Bodega with some massive sandwiches. I like mayo and jalapeno on my cheesesteaks with a spritz of Italian dressing.
It's a really stacked spot. They have everything from beer laundry soap. Really good food too. I love a good cheesesteak!
