Let me say this about that dungeon at Elmina Castle. After looking at the river of no return and being inside, I couldn't stay. Several people just burst into tears. I just had to get out. You can feel it all around you. The heart crushing sadness is palpable, and is something I will never forget.

We dont eat amala in Ghana . The pounded yam you had is fufu- is different from the nigerian one . The fufu you ate we usually eat with soup A light soup, peanut soup. If you have okro stew its delicious with Banku. We also have something called kenkey which is delicious with fish and stew/ pepper . Have fun in my homeland 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭❤️
Me and my sister went to Ghana in 2021 we went to Accra, Cape Coast and Kumasi. We stayed for 3 weeks! Went to the River of no return and bathed in it to the dungeons and so many other places. It was literally the best experience and time I have ever had. I could have stayed for months!

Hunni I went to Ghana 🇬🇭 in April and fell in lovvvve! Had always wanted to return to the motherland and was glad God safely allowed me to go and experience the land, culture and PEOPLE ❤❤Can’t wait to return to Africa next year and visit another beautiful country.
