Great job mom!! I can’t stand to hear Mother’s say they can’t deal with their child’s hair because it’s “nappy” or “course”… they rather put a relaxer on the child’s head instead!! Smhhhhh… all you gotta do is be patient and really develop a natural hair care routine for the child. Our hair is VERY BEAUTIFUL AND VERSATILE. It can easily be managed with proper care and techniques. And you, my dear, are AMAZING!! Thank you for showing everyone that our hair IS BEAUTIFUL!!!

try to whip your Shea butter with olive oil, you can use hand mixer or blender for easier application. and then you won't have to put heat on her scalp.

OMG the hairstyle is fire, does ur gal get lots of compliments from school or from other kids esp africans cz she always have unique styles. Do you styleother kids as well or when doing school runs outside do u get compliments from other people and they be like can u do my haiiiir haha. Also i knw sheffield is diverse with black people ? If you don’t mind ask what kind of shampoo or conditioner do you use for your daughters hair.
How long do you find this would last? Especially with using gels? Thinking foe my 8 yr old and maybe my 3 yr old thanks for some amazing ideas I have become stuck in a rut of box braids and basic plats
