Family fun day @ the San Diego Zoo

You can spend a good amount of time here - it's HUGE! The kids had so much fun and loved seeing all the different animals and species.
If you ever visit, be sure you have a water bottle and comfy shoes on. There are some features at the park to help you get around easier - Sky Train rides to get to and from the upper and lower levels of the zoo, double decker buses, elevators, etc. Drinks are refillable at any place offering them within the zoo - just make sure you make a drink purchase and save your receipts! Have your SPF and take shade under some of the greenery that's abundant at the park.
This zoo is certainly one of the most well-maintained I've been to and there is so much ground to cover. I don't even think we saw all the animal sanctuaries...but you know what this means...we'll just have to be back!
