We went to Menorca 2 years ago in October and there was a big storm, and it was the highlight of the holiday! Absolutely spectacular. We had a villa which was on the coast but it was quite high up on a cliff top so we had the most amazing view of it. We were sat outside under shelter having a few beers and watching it. Absolutely amazing. Even when it stormy it's still nice and warm! We are going to Majorca in 2 weeks and I would be happy if we get more storms!
You couldn't have picked a lovelier place for your October guide. We didn't visit Soller town this time, everyone said it was horribly crowded, which is sad. Thanks for your thorough video.
WOO! Going to Puerto Pollensa for the last week of October!! Staying at the Cabot Pollensa Park, a short walk from where you filmed this vid!! Looking forward to those temperatures and sunrises/sets!!! And a hike up Puig De Maria, and Puig De Sant Marti!! 🚶♂🚶♂🚶♂🚶♂🚶♂🚶♂
I believe that as long as the weather holds up, a lot of places will stay open for longer..I'm going to the water park in November before heading to BCM. :)
@@jamesraven2018 I'm only kidding as Alex knows me. Yes ,both water parks shut down before October. Only way you are going to get wet is if it rains or you jump into a pool. Hey, I sincerely hope you enjoy your holiday and I wish I could have gone again this year. You will still have a great time. 👍

We are landing 2nd Oct next week. Hi Alex, We are arriving in Palma nova on Sunday 29th Sept. I know there will be changes to hotel check-in coming in on 1st October. will this affect my stay in any way ? We love Majorca but these ridiculous intrusive new check- rules may lead to us choosing alternative destinations. love your informative vids !

My friends just came from there, it cost them £300 for the three of them to get treatment for mozzie bites, they were covered in them. They did have a mozzie plug in, mozzie spray and mozzie bracelets so be warned.
Hi Alex, I've just arrived back from majorca this morning, and whilst out there, I was told pirates have cancelled all shows for the month of October and offered refunds those who have already paid. Do you know the reason why?
Hello - I’m just looking into this - I didn’t know. Normally they finish the season with a big Halloween show on the 31st Oct. I will try and find out and include in my Monday update. Thanks for the tip off!

Puerto Pollensa has a Lake Garda, Italy vibe despite not being a lake but the water is so mellow that it does look like a lake.
That is so true! The views often reminds me of the Lake District too! But better weather!
