Upper Stone Apartment Tour - Stony Point Center's newly renovated guest accommodation

With three bedrooms -- two with a queen and a twin and one with a queen alone - Upper Stone Apartment comfortably sleeps five people. If folks want to share beds, we can go up to eight.
One of only three spaces on campus in which guest groups have the choice to cook your own meals, “Upper Stone” as we familiarly call it, has the basic amenities and living spaces to make your stay a comfortable one-living room, and office/planning/game spaces. Its recent renovation makes it a favorite among guests and staff alike.
This space is appointed with a mix of Mid-Century Modern furnishings and Victorian antiques, bringing together the aesthetic influences of our lodges and the Gilmor Sloane House.
Views from this height are rare on this campus of mainly one-floor buildings. Two of the bedrooms feature an enchanting view of our labyrinth, the second bedroom also has a stunning view of the meditation space, which is also the case for the third bedroom. From the living room, you can watch the sun set over the rooftop of the Gilmor Sloane House and the Art Space.
This apartment is typically used by guest group planners, leaders or keynote speakers. It also is quite convenient to expand the capacity of rooming when a group stays in the Gilmor Sloane House. This latter use is actually how the Gilmor Sloane family eventually used the space themselves when they had an overflow of guests in their home.
