@@samzam7890 Because they don't cut well. You have to almost constantly, adjust the chain. It stretches like a rubber band. All chains stretch, doesn't matter what it's on. I have never seen one stretch so badly, or fast. It worked pretty well for about a year. Now I am constantly messing with the chain. This is something the wife operates, and I will admit it's operator error to a certain degree. She lets the chain get to loose and throws it. But for the amount of cuts made, you have to adjust the chain more than daily. I also have a Stihl Pro grade saw here. I tension that chain maybe one time a year. I don't cut down trees for a living. These saws are used to maintain a very wooded 5 acre lot.
this chainsaw is a must have for exactly what this guy is using it for . same story here . a storm tore down a few trees and tons of branches . walmart sent me this chainsaw for free ( i guess by accident ) along with a few things that i had ordered online. i kept it and i never got billed . the very next week , a huge storm destroyed a couple of my trees . THIS WAS MEANT TO BE . 😂 .... this saw worked perfect . the battery lasted all day until the work was done . i was blown away by a battery chainsaw ! BTW, it came with the 40 v battery too .
Big Work Done With 20 yr old ms 290 Stihl, But Started To Be Real Hard To Start! Choke B.S Took it apart everything checked out. Well Anyway Got This Today UPS. Fast Getting here. Put Oil In And Cut A Pine Branch That Fell Last Storm. Cut Great So Far, Just Testing It Today. 4 Branches about 4in Dia. Cut Great!. Glad I Got Most Of The Acre Done With ms290 BUT This Is So Easy , Chain Oil And Go!!! If I have Problems Will Check Back ! Peace ;-))
That’s what I always hated about gas chainsaws the high maintenance battery powered chainsaws are so much easier and actually cheaper for the most part.
Nice. Out of all my battery tools I think I use the leaf blower the most. I even blew leaves off the roof of my house and the dust out of my PC (took it out side lol)
I purchased one of these, Wouldn't oil the chain. Pressurized the oil tank and one drop came out. Never cut a piece of wood with it. Sent it back. Real Disappointed.
Am I doing something wrong? When I let my 40v chainsaw sit for at least 2months, not in use the chain oil will leak out and I have a nice puddle of oil where it was sitting. I hope there's nothing wrong with it?
Sounds like the chain tension is too tight If you don’t have other electric tools from that company you have to buy a battery so right there the price jumps up!
Fuel isn’t cheap either though and it depends on how expensive the battery is I bought an extra one for mine and it was about $50.00 the 80v batteries are more expensive a lot of them are over a $100.00
It’s the same if you don’t have gas or oil I use to be skeptical of electric tools but after seeing how much they’ve advanced compared to what they use to be changed my view completely it is really nice not having all the high maintenance like you do with a gas chainsaw and if you leave a gas saw sit for a long time the saw can start degrading with a electric saw that’s not the case.
*push the primer 6 times and let it rip I like the saw for the price👀 **allabout.wiki/Included** used maybe 10 tanks of fuel, 6 loads of hard wood and am very pleased with it. some will say its under powered for a 20" but I like it better then a 18". I have a 18" also which is great also just like the extra 2" inches. the saw is very light also which is nice. Huskavarna owns Greenworks so I am sure it will last. its not a sthl but still love it! I have seen some bad reviews on the saw but do not agree with them. some people told me not to waste my money but have since changed there mind. just have some common sense and cut some wood!*
pretty cool man! first time seeing a battery powered chainsaw.
Don’t buy it

I bought this chainsaw a few years ago and its still going strong. Its great for anythimg upto 8" thick
I have this chainsaw as well as a number of Greenworks products. They are all fantastic!
Nice to have you back .

i bought the polesaw thing works great now im gonna get this bad boy ,
Stihl has quite a chunk of stake in this company so they must be pretty good.

20min to cut one log by hand?
Can buy these online for $60. A bowsaw is $25 or more , its not a 500 2 stroke but beats a bowsaw handsdown
I have 2 metal clips inside the battery well that makes it extremely difficult to insert the battery. Are they supposed to be removed and if so how???
i got this saw.... looked into a spare battery... expensive.... so I bought the leaf blower and also now have a spare battery

I paid about $50.00 for a 40v 6.0 amp battery I bought a extra one because the 4.0 amp battery doesn’t last all that long.
Good Review, I am now thinking about getting one for myself.
Looking for your 1 year later update…is it still working well for you?
I watched a review someone made recently and it was a review after 5 years of use and the person said it was still working real good.
Mines is about 4 years old and still works fine
2:50 - The lock/unlock screw is NOT to "Just take off the cover"!!! It's to take off the blade. Big difference....
It’s not a blade it’s a BAR
I purchased one of these, Wouldn't oil the chain. Pressurized the oil tank and one drop came out. Never cut a piece of wood with it. Sent it back. Real Disappointed.
What size chain. I know it’s a 16”
Awesome
I have that saw 14in-out of the box new and you can only mak
e ONE cut and it stops and you have to wait 3-4 minutes before it will start WHY????
Sounds like maybe it's overheating. Do you have cutting oil in? Or maybe the tree is pinching the chain?
Just got mine today

Thats normal, drain it before you store it.
@@daterxies ok, thanks!
Mine leaked oil some whenever I first got it the saw works fine though it starts every time I use it
Because they use a plastic wire tie instead of a metal clamp, because these things are cheap Chinese junk...
Update video?
How many hrs it can be used in one charge ?
Don’t buy it

You should mention the ACTUAL bar length for cutting.
Is that not what the 16 on the bar means?
I came here to see how you put it together. Darn.
The battery fully charged only last for 15 minutes.
Get a 6.0 amp battery I bought a 6.0 amp battery to go along with the 4.0 amp battery
that was really helpful, thanks
Sounds like the chain tension is too tight

So unless I have a no of batteries and extension cord I might not be able to finish a job.

I can see just by the video that the product design and safety switch did not take into account use by left handed people.
You shouldn’t just hold it with opposite grip because it will put your body in line with the chain.
@@joespiteri4240 Thanks for the tip.
Sir amount sir
Use the chain brake please. You make me real nervous watching you use this saw.
Why not let us see you cut the really big ones that was on the ground
ราค่าเท่ารัยครับ
Around $250
Now add the price of a battery and total it up!
Did he say...BELT!? 🤯🧐
Don't bother buying one made by jing and jang
