People just don't understand long term booking and booking that just makes sense. Drew winning made perfect sense not only did it move him and Punk along in there story but now you have Seth and Punk down the line. Jay is moving into the bloodline story line it all makes sense

Money in the bank was a really good show I was in attendance and the crowd was so loud it's so different because when you watch it at home you can hear the commentators but when you go to the show live you cannot hear the commentators only the crowd but if you are sitting in a good spot you can see the action Close and personal I did not expect John Sena to make an appearance so that was a huge surprise for us I was chanting with the crowd and we did anything to do to keep this show alive thank you JD for reviewing this show.☺️

My problem with the Drew thing is that it’s becoming too predictable now. I saw Punk coming out of nowhere and interrupting Drew a mile away. That’s why I’m not really enjoying the storyline anymore and they should fight already.

A good show but mid main event too predictable they were better off closing the show with seth vs priest which i thought that was wat they were doing. I was shocked drew won MITB clean with no interference from logan paul or the wyatt family. Huge botch with priest vs rollins. Priest looked winded and prob forgot
I don't know what happened. I'm thinking that McIntyres music was supposed to cue when Rollins was pinning Priest after the Falcon arrow, or Priest was legit temporarily stunned and possibly hurt and couldn't move his body to kick out. Either way, the botch just looked downright awful.
@@robertnewett5932 I def think that was a botch. When the ref count 1..2... Drew music was supposed to hit to "stop" the ref from counting 3. But instead, the ref awkwardly stop counting when Damien Priest was clearly wasn't kicking out.

I preferred if they had punk show up in ladder match and screw Drew. So at least we would’ve got Seth beating Priest because of Finn’s interference. Now we have to wait for JD to end. Whether it was used to further drew and punks story or not, they could have done it differently. In order to make MITB relevant again, you need to have someone carry it and use it against a dominant champion (like Gunther) or use it to add drama to a story long term. Could have easily seen some stuff go down with Cody and Jey with Jey holding the case during the bloodline 2.0 feud.
Quick take so you know how Vinchi got kicked out of Imperium, how would you feel if Ludwig wins the IC title at Summerslam, Finn and JD turn on Priest and join Imperium👀

Then Cena *SURPRISINGLY and possibly UNSANCTIONED* comes back for revenge at the Rumble and they agree to settle it at Mania.

Money in the Bank? Might as well call this year's show Money in the Botch. This show was full of botches. Not to mention having some questionable booking decisions.
The Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match was fantastic. Lots of big spots in the match. There were some botches, but that didn't hurt the match too much. But you would have Drew McIntyre win. Yeah. I would've gone with Finn Balor. That would've furthered the storyline with the Judgement Day imploding down the line. As for the match, I'd give it a 4.25/5.
The IC Title Match. I liked it. It had a nice pace. It flowed decently. But the outcome was very offensive in my opinion. Why would you have Bron Breakker lose his first PPV match? Why, why, why, why, why?! Do you know how stupid it is to have someone lose the first PPV match? That makes that talent weak. It kills their momentum. But the match itself was not bad. 3/5.
World Heavyweight Title Match. It was alright. Actually, I retract that statement. It was boring. I didn't expect the match to be this slow and methodical. And just like the first 2 matches, it was plagued by bad booking. In fact, this is the worst booking of them all. You would have Drew McIntyre win Money in the Bank. And then you would have him cash it in on the same night only to get screwed by CM Punk again? STUPID! You are treading in hot water with this. Keep doing it and you'll have a 180 on your hands with McIntyre being the babyface and Punk being the heel. And you had Damian Priest retain the title after all this. One of the worst outcomes all year. The match itself was a 2/5.
Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match was one of the sloppiest matches I've seen all year. There were some spots I enjoyed. One of those spots was towards the end. I thought that was the best thing in the entire match. Overall, the match was a complete botch-fest. The outcome saw Tiffany Stratton win Money in the Bank, which is the right choice. Tiffany Stratton is the future of the company. She deserves Money in the Bank. Overall, the match was garbage. 1/5.
And now the main event. A standard 6-Man Tag with the new Bloodline against the team of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. Great match. We expected chaos and we got it. The outcome saw Solo Sikoa pin Cody Rhodes to pick up the win for his faction. OK. I actually didn't mind that outcome. Because you had Roman Reigns lose the Undisputed Title to Cody at Wrestlemania. And amid that loss, Solo decided to take over and form his own Bloodline. And it's all to bring the title back to the Bloodline. And at the same time, giving Cody a substantial opponent for Summerslam. The match gets a 4/5.
Money in the Bank 2024 had an above-average card with a great bookend. But the booking decisions were mostly terrible. Overall, the show sucked. 4.5 out of 10.
Also yes Ilya is buried. He was buried by Jey Uso. Triple loved making new stars in NXT but on the main roster he buries them all. Sad
Cos he hasn't a clue what to do with them after he puts them on the main roster! Nada. Nothing.

LA. Knight will be facing Logan Paul at Summer Slam just follow the story lines it all makes perfect sense with who won and how the hole thing played out.
WWE MITB 2024 has been fine, even with the botch. The the outcomes do fit the LTB narrative: Bloodline stands tall, McIntyre is beyond p*ssed, Stratton achieved MITB victory, Priest is loving life right now as WHC, and Punk keeps being a pain-in-the-rear. 🤣 Thanks for the review, JD. 💯

The problem with the money in the bank is too often it looks fake because logic dictates you use it the first time a title match is held because the champion is always beat up after the bout.
I'm sorry, but even though there was a lot of good things on this ay-per-view like storytelling, I did not like it with all the botches that happened.This paper view felt like it should be called Money in the botch. The way they executed CM Punk screwing.Drew mcentire again was awful that ending with seth and drew where the referee had botched the count was terrible.

I get why Drew won the briefcase and then failed cash in, but honestly it was stupid for him to cash in and make it a triple threat. Regardless of Punk or not. At least wait for one to win. Combined with the botch, the cash in segment was very confusing and didn't generate the effect it could have. The feud with Punk is still good.
