  • This General Berude Boss Fight guide showcases all the boss's attack patterns in The Rogue Prince of Persia.
You need the following gear in order to beat General Berude Boss in The Rogue Prince of Persia:
    Toxic Projectile
    Sticky Vault
    Slicing Vault
    Sleight of Poison
    Broadsword
    Composite Bow
You can, of course, bring any other gear during the run to beat General Berude. However, the gear I mentioned above helped me beat the boss easily.
This was my 7th attempt in defeating General Berude in The Rogue Prince of Persia.

The boss is a raging minotaur with a dark magic-infused left hand. Besides the brute force that General Berude employs in the battle, she will also use her magic attacks to assault the young prince.
    General Berude Boss Attack Patterns
Teleportation: General Berude will teleport at any moment during the boss fight and will land over the last known spot of the young prince. Dodging is critical here otherwise you will receive some damage if the boss lands on you.
Raging Rush: Before charging, rushing, and ramming the young prince, General Berude shouts and enrages herself. This is immediately followed by a rush attack that typically ends with the boss running from one side of the arena to the other and ends with ramming the wall.
Black Stone Waves: General Berude tries to get up close and personal, but sometimes she throws ranged attacks in the mix. This is done by casting waves of black stones and sending them towards the young prince's position. The stone waves do not come all at once, and they are cast with a few seconds gap, giving you enough space to get out of rough spots in between the casts.
Some waves have smaller stones approaching the prince. These can be dodged by jumping over them. However, for a bigger stone wave, you will need to climb the wall to dodge them.
Right-Hand Smash: While General Berude uses her left hand to cast black stone waves, she swings her right hand in front of her to punch the young prince. This is mostly a follow-up attack that happens after a certain attack has come to an end.
For example, you will notice General Berude executing a right-hand smash as a follow-up attack once the black stone waves have ended.
Ground Slam: All the might of this minotaur boss gets reflected in the boss fight when she does the ground slam attack. General Berude jumps in the air and comes down, slamming to the ground with both arms. This attack creates two opportunities for the prince to get hit.
The young prince will take damage if he is struck by a ground slam while standing on the ground. This attack also leaves an aftershock in General Berude, which is visible in a black aura over her head. If you happen to vault over the boss or wall-run over her, you will get caught by this attack and take damage.
Teleportation Ground Smash: The regular teleportation attack of General Berude deals a fraction of the damage compared to the teleportation ground smash attack. This attack's animation involves the boss teleporting and landing by smashing the ground with both arms. The shockwaves create impact damage and send black stone waves to her left and right sides.
Avoiding the boss's landing point is equally critical as dodging the black stones. If the young prince is caught by the first attack, escaping the latter is not possible. As a result, you will get significant HP damage.
Enraging Rush: When General Berude's health drops below 70 percent, she becomes enraged. Her usual raging rush attack transforms into an even fiercer assault. While charging at the young prince, General Berude leaves a trail of black stones in her wake. Getting hit by a rush attack or struck by the black stones will deal damage to the young prince.
Wall Slam: The wall slam is a one-time attack that basically breaks a sizable portion of the wall the young prince uses to climb and dodge General Berude attacks. This is triggered after the boss is left with 50 percent or lower health.
Defeating General Berude unlocks Berude's Gauntlet, which you can craft back at Oasis. All weapons crafted at Oasis will become available for purchase in future runs.
