Yes - that's true - but by catching such live-gigs it hardly depends where you are recording it - if you're standing near the bass box the bass will be tuned up automatically ;) - at least we have to wait for a professional live recording or the studio version. But - honestly - that's the best live-version being catched so far - big cudos for this recording.

That album is my favourite of them
An instant desire for the studio version to hear the tremendous bass in this song without underestimating Danny's voice and Pau's drums. For personal taste I like HYCAD more. I'm already waiting for the full album to make me happy all year.

@@SDsailor7 before Pau got her drum rack Carlos was almost a 4th band member because he was onstage so much fixing or adjusting her drum kit.
As Pau says herself “I’m a bit of a hard hitter”.
@@mjc1389 Yes, that's right. I remember in the gear presentation she said the Carlos had to be in front of the kick drum because it tended to run away from her! 😄 Then she got that stop. ☺️ Drum kits are afraid of her haha

I see that Pau took the lead vocal immediately after Dany's high note instead of Ale. I've always loved Pau's energetic drumming, but she's hitting another level with this stuff. Very pleasing to the ear! 🤩
Ale is singing her line at 2:47. I think Pau made a mistake and came in early as she repeats the line in the correct place straight afterwards.

Los norteamericanos son muy poco expresivos en los conciertos de Rock, a ellas ya las conocen perfectamente, a diferencia de Europa y Latinoamerica donde la audiencia es muy entusiasta y expresiva.

I wonder if the whole album is gonna be drop tunings. Kind of seems like it. On this one Dany has her guitar tuned down a whole step and then a drop C tuning. More work for the tech!
I think I heard her say she has locking Sperzel tuners on all her guitars. Nothing wrong with the stock PRS tuners but why not use the best

Thanks for posting. Yeah that was great. Seems like they are continuing to modify this for live performances. I like this version although I agree with others that they should turn down Pau when Dany sings the high parts.
i think it was a mixing prob, they prob didn't have control of the board Pau's mic was alittle hot on some of the other songs as well

a little sad the bass is more muted in this one. And with as muted as it was on the studio version of Sick... I'm a little worried, because Ale has SUCH a dirty nasty bassline on this song.

When i grow up, i want to play drums like pau does.
Puntos a tener en cuenta:
1:16 El backing track sustituye a pau por unos segundos con unos drumms con reverb.
1:22 Al final sí agreegan la armonía vocal con pau.
2:35 Pau toma el lead, dany hace el apoyo y ale toma luego el lead.
Creo que es la primera vez en la que las 3 toman juntas la voz.
Personalmente, si consiguen la maestría en HYCAD es posible que se convierta en su mejor canción, pero Ale tiene que tener más presencia y potencia, y deben mezclar mejor las voces.
Es un desafío grande, pero si vemos como evolucionaron con sus otras canciones, como con when im alone, que hasta parece otra canción diferente, tengo fe en que lo conseguirán.
yo también pienso que HYCAD tiene mucho potencial para ser un Hit, y creo que la mayoría queríamos más que sacarán está canción. también Sick es muy buena.
pero HYCAD me fascinó desde la primera vez que la escuché, actualmente Choke es mi canción favorita, pero cuando salga HYCAD oficialmente. definitivamente será mi canción favorita.

Great recording! Best sound quality so far from HYCAD. Funny how such an amount of people trying to fix this and that during this song - my personal favourite is the last man talking with Danny at the end. I instantly thought he would just eat her up with a big breath in ... gladly not, else we would have heard it already ;)

No I don’t think so because that takes away from the amazing high note. Pau should not sing at that part
I think in the studio mix Pau's part will be background, quiet enough to have a nice sound.

I think it’s not “necessary” but sounds cool. I like how Pau and Ale trade off singing the chorus while Dany shouts/screams. It adds dimension
Why the hell was Pau singing over Dany?
I really hope and think they take their live performance to the next level within the next couple of years. Not necessarily things like pyro or crazy visuals (though that would be a cool addition). I mean something like howthey start and end songs. Many of their shows its just straight beginning to end for their songs for the most part. Granted they only have so much time for the gigs they're getting now so that's not too big of a deal. I think they will naturally add more.
But also their movement on stage. They have all gotten better over the years but sometimes can still look like choreographed routines. Again not a hard critique but i would like to see some more spontaneity on stage from show to show. It will only add to the authentic energy these ladies already give. They're just gonna get better and better! 🤟🏽
More lighting and big screens (and maybe pyro) production costs substantially more money.
Plus there's additional vehicle transport for lighting road cases, and more crew members would be needed (at union wage rates) to put it all together. The costs to do it all on a regular basis for larger venues that could accommodate the additional gear would be quite substantial. It's not in their budget . . . yet.
It's far too rehearsed! True rock stars it would come off natural!
