Perrie always leans forward, or shakes her head down then up when she's lipping. I think because she's not putting so much energy into the vocals she really goes all out on the movement, but it's the one thing that always lets me clock it haha
Yeah the take it all is but the actual one woah oh ah yeaaaaa us lipped but y can tell its after her tonsils but tbh sounds like the one from salute tour tho
I only got two wrong as the Woman's World A5 belt in Madrid was live which I thought was lipped and then I thought the Word Up Performance in London was live when in matter of fact it was lipped. I did realise that I was wrong because of the A5 belt she did as it just sounded too perfect for her. But otherwise, I managed to get all of the rest correct. I can't wait to see the Jesy & Leigh Anne versions of the Lip Sync game soon
Angel Bernard yeah she just needs rest sometimes or may be unconfident to hit high notes (as they are difficult) but both are completely normal as she is human!!
In every high note u can tell... when it is live the mic is a little more away from her mouth cause otherwise the mic could not process the tone right cause it is to loud
Even though she strains after a while on tour doing it, there's a part of me that is still glad it's live cause I love how powerful it is and I think the same lipped version all the time would dull that a bit.
doesitmatter i agree 100% i just don’t think it’s worth it every time since it can get her to sound strained and obviously that’s not good for her whatsoever she still has many songs to sing after power
Yeah, I think a mix between live and lipped would be a good balance. Like if she used a track on the days she felt her voice wasn't up to it. esp since it's a song she can't really dodge.
Every artist utilizes it as a tool in different ways. Some like pre-recorded tracks, some like studio, some like doing whole songs lipped, some like to lip high notes, some like to lip choruses, some like to lip something half the time and sing it live the other half, some would rather lip while sick than sing while sick, etc. It's artist's (and their teams) preference and so the only way to know for sure is to do your research on that artist and that particular vocal. That said there are things like volume and how clean the audio is that can give an indication that something isn't live.
29 years old and I still don't understand all this stuff like lipped, falsetto etc...clearly I'm a granny when it comes to this sort of thing 😂. All I ever see is amazing performances 😁

Woman's World A5 in Madrid is live? I've always thought it was lipped because she's doing the exact same hand gestures she does when she lips it, as opposed to when she does it live.
I personally wouldn't use her hand gestures as a way of judging if something is live. In Madrid, she takes time to breathe, her core is tense, and the audio matches for what she's singing right before and the belt. I think the hand gestures are just her being dramatic for effect.
Kom26 Music Yeah, I still am. The plan is to do Jesy and then Leigh. Because of the way some people treat Leigh lip syncing I want to do her last but when everything started happening with Jesy, I stopped working on hers cause I didn’t want to draw potential negative attention to her. This is a good reminder to get working on it again lol
I love it how mixers are so open for discussikns and videos like this, like c'mon not every fandom can do this 😂, we already know the girls have the abilities in singing.
The plan is to do both Jesy and Leigh with Jesy being next. When Jesy took her extended break I stopped working on hers because I didn't want to draw potential negative attention to her but since she made the announcement I've started working on it again.
My thing is when do they decide they want to lip? And are they like hey tonight i need the pre recorded track for this this and this cause I aint singing em tonight. Lol Also can you do a Leigh Anne one? I feel like she be lipping the most like in power, and I feel like she's been lipping the bridge in sweet melody but im not sure. Either way I love the crap out of her and all of them I dont really care if they lip cause I know they can sing
I watch every date of the tours and the performances to come to the conclusions on these videos and no I'm not exaggerating. Weeks of research goes into just one video and if I'm unsure whether something is lipped, it doesn't make the video. Edit: Also none of those things have to do with whether something is lipped except maybe production and I say maybe because that's a very broad term you used and so I'm not sure what type of production you're referring to. A singer can pre-record anything they want.
@@doesitmatter_YT I still can't tell, cause sometimes you have to move your body in order to hit a certain note so that confuses me and makes it go over my head. Or at least that's what I had to do when I was singing. That's so awesome! Was just super curious. I wonder what a vocal coach or production person would have to say or if they would be able to tell! Great videos, well worth all the time you put in. Wish the girls could take notice, you definitely deserve the recognition.
Perrie always leans forward, or shakes her head down then up when she's lipping. I think because she's not putting so much energy into the vocals she really goes all out on the movement, but it's the one thing that always lets me clock it haha
I don’t care if they all lip sync, cuz they give one hell of a performance
Still proves that she can hit the high notes
Sailor Saturn she just needs rest sometimes which is completely normal!
@@lucia7247 yes
4:42 thats not even perries voice the one being being played is from when she had tonsils
Yeah the take it all is but the actual one woah oh ah yeaaaaa us lipped but y can tell its after her tonsils but tbh sounds like the one from salute tour tho
Between weird hand movements and making some vocals look “too easy” it’s pretty easy to tell when she’s lipping 😂
wait a minute the first A5 from woman’s world was actually live
Tyrone Barajas yup!!

I gave up eventually and I started dancing to the songs...
Usually when she shakes her head around a lot its lipped. Or when she over exaggerates hand gestures. And the lighting one is the most obvious
Easy to tell for Perrie. She shakes her head or moves more while going for the high note.
Even tho they are lipping we know they can sing there asses off
Angel Bernard yeah she just needs rest sometimes or may be unconfident to hit high notes (as they are difficult) but both are completely normal as she is human!!
@@lucia7247 i agree
Compared to Jade, Perrie was easier to tell whether she lipped or live, but she did so many high note, she's really good, I've got 2 wrong
I agree, Jade's are hard to catch
Yea, Jade is the hardest to tell when she's lipping.
I think she is the one for least mishap in syncing with pre recorded notes!
How can she be lipping when it sounds nothing like the recording? Or do they record different vocals with longer notes before tour to use on tour?
The second one 😊
@@ilubyou13 Well. It was real at some point, I guess 😂
It’s prerecorded
@@Laurica-lb6nv Yeah I know
@9:42 even if this is lipped I still fucking love this note change it’s just sooo good. And she still sung it just not live
In every high note u can tell... when it is live the mic is a little more away from her mouth cause otherwise the mic could not process the tone right cause it is to loud
i only got 2 wrong woop woop
out of all these songs i think she should be lip syncing power i can tell it’s a little bit straining at times but she’s a queen anyway
Do you mean the opening?
doesitmatter yess
Even though she strains after a while on tour doing it, there's a part of me that is still glad it's live cause I love how powerful it is and I think the same lipped version all the time would dull that a bit.

Lightning was pretty easy to guess. She really struggled with the note when she tried to do it live because it is *SO* high
how can y'all tell?? I feel like every time I think I'm right I'm totally wrong lmao
kamcalste perrie in particalar usually exaggerates her movements more when lipping (raising hand and shaking her head)
I'm very curious, how do you know when its live or when is lipped?
It's honestly just a lot of research
She was most probably sick or tried because everyone knows she can hit high notes amazingly!!!!!
How do you notice someone is lipping?
I got it with Perrie, but how do you know with other artists?
Every artist utilizes it as a tool in different ways. Some like pre-recorded tracks, some like studio, some like doing whole songs lipped, some like to lip high notes, some like to lip choruses, some like to lip something half the time and sing it live the other half, some would rather lip while sick than sing while sick, etc. It's artist's (and their teams) preference and so the only way to know for sure is to do your research on that artist and that particular vocal. Same here, it's kinda hard to tell with Think About Us, especially if you can't see what Perrie's doing 😂 I thought one of the lipped vocals was live.
It's hard to know wich one bc everybody in the show is like DO YOU THINK ABOUT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAA UOOOHOOOOO UOOOHOOO

Exactly, I think that is the big reason. We are completely confident in their abilities and know how demanding their vocals are.
are we gonna get leigh anne and jesy soon?🤔
Jesy will be next. These take a while for me to do cause I do weeks of research while also doing my normal editing schedule.
