It's hard to believe Stevie Ray Vaughan gave this speech on January 3, 1990 and died less than nine months later on August 27th. It is as if sharing his story was among the last things God needed him to do in this life.
"I'm just glad to be alive today." By the grace of God Stevie lived long enough to find some peace and serenity.
This is the best speech I have ever heard by someone who just was happy to be alive and still creatively making music will make you a fan of the humanity still in the world God bless you mr.Vaughan thanks for sharing your thoughts and stories about love and life excuse me while you kiss the planet

Stevie ray Was the real deal, he had a heart of gold and a Love of music not often seen he was Pure and honest at whatever he did. my hero, my fave musician ever.
This is as genuine as it comes. Such a good hearted guy Stevie was, just an honest soul who didn’t pervert his version of he past to suit his treacherous heart. He saw things for what they truly were, and told us all his true feelings

STEVIE Ray Vaughan brought his drug and alcohol addiction to an end and lived only for his music carreer and making his life worthy and prosperous in the coming days ahead in his young life..Stevie helped so many people out of there addictions and made there life as well as his own to prosper ..Then,he went to a gig and when he left he boarded a helicopter and died when the helicopter crashed into a ski slope on that terrible fatal night..Stevie lost his life as well as the others on the helicopter..But..Stevie Ray Vaughan had cleaned up his life and his way of getting by for a long time and didn't know any differently then he was led to believe throughout life growing up..and with his father being an alcoholic that's all actually Stevie knew in his young life..Stevie Ray Vaughan become legend of blue's and rock n roll....he was the best in his music life and produced alot of his songs and wrote some of his songs..He had a great band and toured all over the world..Stevie Ray Vaughan helped alot of addicts recover from addictions they posessed..great things was soon to happen for Stevie Ray Vaughan before his death at Pine Valley that awful night..All of Stevie's fans mourned his death and still miss him today..His fame was real and he was very humble with all...RIP

He was the most beautiful real humble soul he could talk about things of the heart and am soul his music touched my heart and soul when he died I couldn’t listen or see him this makes me so proud of him and how real heart full stuff he was all about true light in this world rip SRV you are loved and missed ❤
