congrats and good luck. The only thing i can say is don't ignore your weaknesses. If you suck at recordkeeping, get quickbooks. There should be plenty of reading of small retail success strategies. I'd never think to put do-dads and accessories at the point of purchase. i want you to succeed.

That would be my favourite thing ever if you brought your Coffee Shop/Film Lab to Oxford! A photo lab is literally the only thing this wonderful city is missing. Next time I’m in the US, I may send some film your way :)

Super stoked for you man. I can't wait to see how the community aspect comes into play. I loved building micro communities when I was bartending and found it to be the most rewarding part of the job while making drinks just helped facilitate conversation. I think you're going to crush it
I just gathered up a handful of rolls from around my house that are shot and about to send them out, then I saw this video. Will be sending these to you!
Are you processing all by hand or do you have some machines? I work at a lab and if you are getting machines you better set up a connection to get parts and you better know that machine inside and out. Best of luck.

i considered it, but the up front investment was too large and I heard a lot about them leaking chemistry. i might consider an automatic Jobo in the future, but I’m mostly focused on upgrading to dip and dunk.
All my film developed and scanned by the best and now you can have that experience!! Woooo

What do you use to scan? Which camera and lens and do you use a jobo tank?
Canon 5DSR, and Paterson tanks currently. B’s Processors as well.
