- Hi Friends,
#friednotfikarnot
This video is all about healthy snacks. Not fried. It is roasted using salt. It is lookalike various pasta types. It can be Rigatoni, Ziti, Penne, Rotelle etc.
This video also shows how Popcorn are made with healthy alternative.
This type of street vendors roam every corner of the city and sell it. Earlier it was regular business for them but now it is getting decreased due to factory made chips packet like Lay's, Cheetos, Pringles, McCoy's, Uncle chip's, Doritos, Walkers etc.
This multimillion dollar companies marketing strategy allures kids towards their factory made chips which in turn destroys the small business like this. Although it is very healthy options compared with branded potato chips.

This is so cool! I’ve never seen frying with salt before. It’s not popular in the USA. I wonder how it will compare to oil… I’ll have to try!
@Golden Laugh No it's not... The person who uploaded the video said it's salt. I even check before I posted my comment. I know what I am talking about.
@@BreannaBaozi it's a rocksalt not a normal iodine salt
@@saighay3427 Yes. I know it's salt. I never specified what kind of salt it was, so don't correct me on something I never said
Try this use it for making popcorn you'll definitely love the taste
You can always use an air fryer
I like those kind of fryums,Chips...anybody can you help me that chips..
Yes of course. If you can travel to India. :)
This is actually relaxing! ASMR?
Kind of. Thank you for watching. :)
You weird
Agree
I appreciate his hardwork...we should buy from such vendors
Yes. That’s true. 🙂
Very true
@Birju Kumar all work uses energy. Just because you say it’s not hard work doesn’t mean it’s true. These street vendors are very nice!
These are rice extruded pellets I export this from India to Africa making cheese curls etc.. Snickers
Yaha subke comments se aiasa lag Raha h k app logo me ise bachpan me kabhi nahi dekha ya khaya honga🙄🧐🤔par ye mujhe bachapn se bhot pasand h☺️👆aur abhi bhi mujhe chips se jyada yahi pasnd h 😋☺️😍❤️❤️
Haan bilkul. Ye tasty bhi bahot hain aur healthy bhi. :)
This item will be more delicious than making in oil
What is the taste like? French fries, potato chips or maybe popcorn? Is he making this in salt and pepper?
It closely taste like potato chips if fried in oil, here it’s baked in salt so taste is little different. It’s eaten without salt and pepper.
Why am I also shaking my phone while he's takitnh out the execs salt on the snacks😭
Niice fryums snack❤
Negative IQ people in the comments section. How the heck are people gonna cook with sand , it's salt. Do people think South Asians are savages who eat sand?
Thsy just think that the salt looks like sand
Amazing technique! Thanks for uploading!
This is so interesting! Oil prices are so high these days! We can def use this method! It's good for children and the elderly since there is no oil. Also mess free! No oil splatters or pots to wash! Those fryums will stay fresh for a long time since no oil is used. Will try at home.
What is that mud , sand or ? I'm hell confused
@@itsbonkerjojo9028 Its salt blackened from constant use. In India we fry with salt. The high temp from salt cooks/fries things. A healthier alternative to oil. The salt is shaken off and so its not salty.
hygiene is going down like shit from deepest bottom of my both feets and ur family eat it? nice!
This video watch politicians next increase sand price?
@@gopinath8932 The only sand price that's increased or decreased is the sand you use for construction purposes or for glass making. And that's not just any sand but specific sand. Sand used for cooking purposes like this can be any sand (usaully only shell encased peanuts are fried in sand as the actual peanuts does not come in contact with the sand). So it's fine. It's practically free. In this video it's salt not sand.
Rocksalt se banatha bhai ye papad
tum sab anpadh logo ne kabhi dekha he nhi kya yeh? isme thora sa masala hota hai aur pura garam mitti may banaya jata hai talne wale chips ko heat se banate hai
Hmm I would try it but I'm sure it would be too salty for my taste.
i have seen this video before from some of facebook..i read all the comment.some people without knowledge just insulted they fry with SAND and saying that indian people was disgusting and laughing with them.i am really sad 😥 . for me .indian people was very intelligently.they cook with any method .and they appreciated all the food. To all people outside there .please use your mind before saying anything.
Please learn English before posting. Thank you

It's called fryums looks and is made a bit like wheat pasta however when it hits hot oil or hot salt or hot sand it expands when it hits the right temperature. The vendor also popped corn and roasted beans? In the same manner

No oil 🔥💕💕
I tried it but it's way too salty and even they didn't raised properly
You might need more heating. And once you take it out than shake it in a mesh so the salt particles fall down.

How to make this
😍
Amazing, they remind me of corn puffs. I wonder if they sell similar things here in NZ? Can anybody tell me what these are actually called? Or do I literally just look for Indian Cracker Snacks? I’m unsure if I’ve misread the description, stating it is pasta? I think they would be much better than over processed packeted chips, and I’m wondering if they could be cooked in an air fryer.
It is not pasta. This is Indian street styled light snack , names are different depending on where we live in India . It is called “fryums papad” they are available online in raw form.
@Anku Chahar I thought as much, Thank you so kindly for your help, I will have a look online. 🙏🏼
Amazon sells them as Wheat Duros or Duritos. We cook for 1.30 mins in microwave. My kiddo loves them!!
Vou testar. ☺
South american here, never heard of this technique before
What exactly is this sand? Does it stick in the food?
