#1 free resource in my opinion is the MEP math website. One of the best math curriculum's out there, easily on the same level as Singapore and Math Mammoth, and all it costs you is paper and ink.
WOW! Thank you for your comment. It means the world to me that you would take the time to stop and say something so kind. :) How is homeschool going for you?
There are soooo many homeschool resources online that sometimes it can get really overwhelming. I'm grateful for all the options but sometimes I can get paralyzed by the amount of choices.
I hope this helps ☺ Here is a website with free resources for homeschooling. bit.ly/2BHlKra Also, if you want to test out of school early check with your school district.
I love Heather! I am a Reading Specialist and started a new channel geared to help young children become strong readers in a fun, relatable way. I homeschooled my oldest son and he is an incredible reader and writer. Homeschooling is effective!

Hi Heather, I always find your videos totally informative. In a previous video, you mentioned that you homeschool year round. I am interested in learning more about how that works. Do you school 6 weeks on and take 1 week off throughout the entire year?
Hi Kelly. Thanks for watching. Yes, that's basically what we do. We do also reserve a few weeks a year as "extra" weeks. These are free weeks to plug in throughout the year when we need them. This helps if we have a sick week, a relative in town unexpected, or just need one more week added on to a week off to really enjoy life. Because we do year-round we make school a part of our lifestyle. My kids (and who am I kidding, me too) do much better with routine. Taking a big chunk of time off in the summer just doesn't work for us. We do however switch up what the different terms are like. For example, we are in December right now and it is crazy busy all month. So we aren't doing any structured history and we are doing language arts review the entire month. I'm going to make a video about year-round homeschool in the future but I hope this helps for now.
Elise sarah Amy maryon homeschooled 10 kids and she wrote homeschool books up to 8th grade please check out her RUclips channel. You won’t regret it. I love her books, I use them for my daughter. They make learning simple and fun.
I'm thinking of homeschooling my preemie when hes old enough. So I'm starting early trying to get early resources. Also, I want to kinda form a curriculum any advice? p.s. I know its a little late to this party.
Hi there! Just wondering if you had or have to take any special classes or have to have some kind of certificate in order to homeschool on your own like you do.
Hi. Welcome! In my state (and in almost alll states) you do not have to have any certification or training to homeschool your kiddos. With that said, I have spent years researching how to educate my kiddos at home and have found some great resources in the area of guidance for this journey. We do follow our state standards for what they legally require we learn and then I use some great resources to help guide me through the day to day of the lessons we are learning.
