That vintage ambulance that says "Maple Leaf" on it, I've seen it also take part in the Ferndale Emergency Vehicle Parade as part of the Woodward Dream Cruise event down in Detroit.
Caught it at last year's Fire Muster in Frankenmuth with a vintage Adam-12 LAPD cruiser and vintage Frankenmuth PD patrol car.

Very interesting camera angle,,, you hear the siren, see the lights in the darkened bridge, and wait to see which type of apparatus emerges...really cool..

We were using a 1947 aerial ladder behind a twenty year newer tractor in the middle 80's. Those were great years.

Our department still has an active unit with the same Ford cab and body as the one at 9:24 and to be honest if I'm responding to the station and I'm stuck waiting I'll take ours by myself first over the 2 twin rosenbauer warrior customs we've got sitting in the bay next to her nothing beats old iron she's over 30 years old and I feel that she'll outpump either of our new engines

Oh gosh, i could imagine those trucks responding to a code 2 fire or something like that these days. Just imagine seeing those respond instead of the ones we have today O.O
