Glad to see you back. Glad to see you wnet for Yakisugi on your cedar. It is such an elegant, beautiful and self-protective technique. BTW people, calling it Shou Sugi Ban is downright wrong,. If you say it in Japan, no one will understand what you're talking about.
People always seem to oil it with linseed oil or similar after burning. Are you going to treat it with anything, or just leave it as is?

Sorry it took this long to catch up with your youtube videos. I'm glad you haven't succumbed to a lack of vision. I've broken some bones as an adult so I can relate a bit. It is much easier to bear when you are a child, they are made of rubber bands. Endeavor to persevere.
