incorrect. the reason all these manufaturers are joing is BECAUSE there rules are what they are. without BOP there would be one, maybe two factory teams and then youd have another 2 to 4 privately run older prototypes...you know, like in LMP1 times
Why? Won Le Manse twice in a row with a V6 and once the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. In the road cars, they still have a V12. But with the SF90 and the F80 they have absolutely brilliant V6 representatives.
Ever heard the start up of the AMR Pro variant? Both LMH/LMDH & AMR Pro variants actually have amall elwctric motors unlike the street version that have bigger ones.
@mslunaticgenericword5015 I don't think they would risk it. Racing organizations know that'd cause trouble. Also, everyone's seen what happened to Jaguar recently.
Maybe Aston Martin was hiding the specification of the electric motors of the Valkyrie AMR Pro & LMH variant, but it's actually smaller than the street variant.
Holy crap... The Cadillac V-LMDh may have a rival for best sounding bump start.
It's very quiet in person. It's also just a glorified starter motor turning it over at under 20 kph just to claim it's a hybrid... Lol

Absolutely
I believe Adrian Newey only made the Valkyrie and AMR Pro, but I don't think he was involved in the LMH conversion of the AMR Pro

Finally motorsport with good sounds! Looking at U F1!
Startup sounds kinda like a spitfire
I'm a huge fan of the 499P but now I'm a bit conflicted:D
The start sounds absolutely amazing
Get Nikki Thiim, Fernando Alonso and Marco Sorensen in a car together for next years Le Mans pleeeeeeeease!
They have a noise restriction on the Exhaust ..that's probably 60 % natural noise..
There are volume restrictions in endurance racing.
The LED stacked headlight is sick.
Nice, are we in a new Golden era of Hypercars or what? Every car looking amazing 👏 🤩 💨🏁👊
That engine sounds nasty I love it
Looks promising ngl
Newey design jet engine sounding v12 it's a winner.
Truly epic
what is nice is that this is actually based on a real road car.
"based on" in the sense that the gts are base on road cars
@TheTutch No it's true. This is one of the few cars that started as a road car first, and then transitioned to racing.
They should put an old F1’s V10 and upgrade it so it can deafen everyone. Even Cadillac!
I might have missed a step wasn't it supposed to lack the hybrid train?
They need a V12 to compete with the Porsche 6 😂
Sounds like a spaceship omg!

The Valkyrie is just an insane sounding car period
damn, the brake must be working hard
How the Ferrari prototypes should have sounded, thanks Aston/Cosworth
I'm very curious for next year, to listen another different sound of all this car in the wec 😁😁😁we'll see at imola
Can't wait to add this to my model collection.
Absolutely fantastic
That flyby sounds like an Aeroplan.
Ok so start up goes to Aston but at higher speeds it has to go to Cadillac
Yo that E-Motor to ICE switch sounded like a decepticon
Please ditch the noise restriction regulations, no one likes or asked for them.
some racetracks do. its not neccessarily a FIA or WEC constraint
People who live near the race tracks ask for them and often like them
Laguna Seca almost got shutdown forever because of it

@Kangkung1st it is muffled so the sound won't be as loud as the road car

The most silent V12 i have heard. The one without muffler is the one everyone is talking about

Yes, carbon ceramic brakes usually turn red hot at heavy braking zones. Quite normal

what car is this
What? They actually turned it into a le mans hypercar?
They did by using the AMR Pro variant as testing until now.
Is it on Daytona
Aston will have WEC wins before its F1 team does...because Lance is not driving in the WEC team😂

Would it be sick if the WEC and IMSA shared the Rolex 24? Similair thing happened with the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2012.
Didn't go all that well thou
Daytona already has a full entry list with IMSA alone, how is WEC supposed to add another 40 cars?
