When Undyne dies in the nuetral route it kinda looks like she gets the spikes on her armor of her undying form and other various little things in the background, but I think the reason she is able to surpass death in Genocide is because she can feel everyone's hearts beating as one. Humans (Which have determination), and monsters. She doesn't care about killing the human to break past the barrier, she cares about killing the human to PROTECT everyone, not just monsters, but everyone. In the nuetral run though, she still cares about killing you for Asgore. She doesn't care about killing you to protect everyone. I think that's why she can't transform and ends up melting.
Although it is stated in the game that Alphys gave Undyne the "pink liquid" that is theorized/stated to be DETERMINATION, nowhere in the game is it even stated Undyne was injected with DETERMINATION. Even if she was, she'd melt after a week or so (just like the Amalgamates.) Undyne seems to be the only Monster in the Underground who has earned her own natural-DETERMINATION. Unlike the Amalgamates, Undyne only melts when she's at death-point / going to be resurrected. Which explains why she's the strongest monster in the world.
Which alternative Neutral Route is that? If you kill off Asgore, Papyrus becomes Captain of the Royal Guard. (Despite being disbanded.) If you kill off Papyrus and Asgore, Undyne overthrows Toriel. (Remains ruler.) If you kill off Undyne and Asgore the Royal Guard becomes disbanded.
Personally i think the alphys theory really downplays Undyne Feat, And i always liked the idea that Undyne was the Only monster who could harness determination, But then again thats just how i feel, also Undyne is my favorite character
I've been following your channel since the "What if Asriel never died" video and I've seen your channel grow with each new video. Each new video you make is better than the previous, you keep improving all the time. Which is pretty tough to do, given that you can only make theories about the same game for so long before all theories have been covered. But even then, you still find long-lasting questions and provide the best evidence to answer them. I hope you're gonna see this, since I'm earlier than usual, cuz I'd really like you to see it. Just keep going, I love your channel! You've come a long way from the beginning, don't give up! And most importantly... Thank you for continuing to make videos. You've kept going despite the challenges you've faced with your channel. Whether it be the end of annotations on RUclips that forced you to change your outro (I loved your old outro so much!) or RUclips demonetizing some videos of yours, you've kept going and making videos. Honestly, I would have given up at your place. But I'm not you, (thankfully!) and you haven't given up. So thank you! Lots of appreciation for you, Underlab!
"doens't really rely on magic" so from where the hell these GLOWING, FLOATING, TOTALLY-NOT-MAGIC SPEARS (that btw AREN'T, by any means, her main form of attacking) come from? :v
I think Alphys did give Undyne DETERMINATION but only during the Neutral and Genocide route. But during the Neutral route, because so many monsters are still alive, you aren't seen as a huge threat so she isn't as determined, so she gives in to the side-effects. But with the Genocide route, she's so determined that she's able to persist past death and fight one more time. With the Amalgamates, it took a day for the side effects to kick in and for them to melt, so Undyne had plenty of time to fight us. But when we killed her, she started trying to use the DETERMINATION to go on, but the side effects kicked in and she melted while dying. But in the Genocide route, she was so determined that she was able to use the DETERMINATION properly and she was able to go on past death, like the player can. And especially during the Genocide route, there isn't much hope. Monsters only fight you in order to give the others more time to escape. Alphys had already been evacuating the entire Underground, they probably both knew Undyne would end up dead like everyone else. It was a suicide mission, so they used DETERMINATION in order to prolong the fight and buy everyone more time to evacuate.
well in my opinion she forms her own determination due to the threat of you trying to destroy everything and so when shes about to die she forms this determination to try and stop you and the reason she melts in neutral is because shes trying to use her determination to only hurt instead of doing the right thing
When it comes to Undyne and Determination, and what happened to the Amalgamates when injected with determination, there's one small line that seems to be overlooked by the theorists. "I kept injecting them with determination." meaning Alphys injected the monsters in her lab with more and more determination, it's possible in her impatience she merely overdosed them on the stuff and that's what caused their melting and combining into the amalgamates. So it wasn't so much that monsters couldn't contain ANY determination at all, but that they were injected with way too much of the stuff, and OD'ed. If that's the case, and Undyne got a hold of a small dose of determination, or injected hers in small, controlled doses over time, she may have been able to adapt to the stuff rather then OD'ing and melting away like the others did. Maybe with the Amalgamates it was simply a case of too much too fast. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, Underlab.
Another explanation is possible. The Amalgamates melted cause they were injected with determination, right? Maybe. But, there can be another factor. The amalgamates were *dead*, and because of that, they gave no resistance to the "determination melting" effect. But, in Undyne's case, she was still alive when injected, so she would not have melted with a small dose of determination which is enough to keep her determined but not enough to save and load. The reason she starts melting when dying is because she starts to cross the line between life and death, thus provoking the "determination melting" effect, and turns into a sticky puddle. But what about on the genocide route, where she comes back. Let's put on our tinfoil hats, everyone! We are getting into conspiracy territory now. So, Alphys may have seen the ruthless killing of the player, and, convinced that it wasn't going to stop, gave Undyne a failsafe that if Undyne was struck with a fatal blow, Alphys would activate said failsafe, which would start to theoretically release more determination from some kind of capsule in her bloodstream or something. This new determination would revive undyne, and BOOM! SECOND HARDEST BOSS MADE!
Remember: try not to fall into a giant cavern, but if you do be nice to the monsters in there. After all, you don't want to get impaled on the spear of justice, do you
Although it is stated in the game that Alphys gave Undyne the "pink liquid" that is theorized/stated to be DETERMINATION, nowhere in the game is it even stated Undyne was injected with DETERMINATION.
Undyne the Undying That would make a lot of sense. Due to Undyne's sheer strength and will she is able to persist past the "Determination" and even death. She even says that she, herself, is determined. As Flowey stated, the being with the most determination can save, control, and reset. If she can manifest her own DT, then she is easily the strongest monster. People say Sans is tough... sheesh.
+Alex Rawlings idk why people say Sans is tough, because he's just simply smart and has space/-time- manipulation and a strong weapon (counting bones, KR, and GB's in the weapon category), a great combination for a smart person (or in this case monster).
Delta Sans the character is strong, but the thing that makes his fight weak is that he uses the same attacks over and over again, probably due to laziness, therefore making it easy to memorize his attacks. Then you can beat him practically every time.
+Alex Rawlings, he is exceptionally weak compared to other monsters in the game (if we can believe either the in game or out of game stats). He just is the only one who came in with the capability to doge attacks perfectly. However, his S/T manipulation is probably one of the strongest abilities in the game, just because of how open ended it is (refer to phase 2 of Sans' fight for some details...), so I'll give you that.
I usually listen to your videos when I go to bed, and oftentimes find myself fallen asleep in the middle of an Underlab playlist. Not that they're boring, quite the contrary actually, but something about them just makes them great to fall asleep to. Today while watching this video in bright daylight I actually started feeling sleepy! Funny how it works. Keep up the good work!
Determination sort of melts monsters. So during the sans fight we see sweat on his skull, what if that isn't sweat but him melting due to his determination to stop you?
Is it possible that Undyne (and other monsters) are capable of retaining a small quantity of determination? In one of the true lab entries, Alphys refers to determination as the will to keep living. Surely all living creatures must posses some of this ability, so why can't monsters posses determination? (I believe that this may also be the reason for Sans's depression, because, as an undead monster, he has no true life. Possibly this means that he has no real will to keep living, but has stayed alive, despite his depression, because he has his brother to care for. (Maybe Papyrus has the will to live because of his optimism?)) Therefore, I theorise that monsters can sustain determination, but not in large concentrations or when weakened (notice that Undyne only melts at the end of her fight, when defeated, and the amalgamates apparently survive some time while recieving doses of determination before merging. (true lab entries)). However, why, then can Undyne not simply reload? Maybe determination acts differently on monsters, with their magical bodies lacking in physical matter. Also, is determination really what makes human souls strong? If we accept my previous statements as accurate, then perhaps no, or perhaps you require a large quantity of determination to have a significant effect. However, is it possible that it is the human body that the human soul is in that makes it strong? Human bodies can handle large quantities of determination, so is it possible that they can handle stronger souls as well? And, why are humans incapable of handling magic (as far as we see in game, there is one sprite that suggests otherwise). Maybe you need a monster body to use magic. This would indicate that monsters have an ability that humans cannnot use without external abilities. There are many questions here and very few answers, so its up to you to speculate. Also, it would be interesting to see a video on this theory. Its a completely different take on the the determination mechanic in Undertale, and I would love to see how it turns out.
When flowey talks to you (I think it’s on genocide) they say that they used to be able to save and reload, until you came along. Your determination eclipsed flowey’s.
My theory on Undyne's determination: She had it all along, and the reason she didn't melt? Plot design. And because in the true lab, it says the monsters melted because they lacked the physical matter to hold detemmienation, which is a requirement because monsters are more in tune with their souls, so they can do MAGIC which holds their body together before they fall down. This is what Undyne avoids, by having the physical matter to hold determination. also hOi!!!!
which means genocide, though sans apparently has its power not from determination as most people think, cuz flowey actually mentions him as smiley trashbag in an easteregg, and says that he caused him his "fair amount of resets" or something like that, which means sans had its power before any collected human soul got down here (and when i say collected that means except chara cuz her/his soul disappeared) which means that sans has his power NATURALLY sry for the long answer :3
I, arguably, think that Undyne is the strongest when it comes to power. Don't get me wrong, Sans is a complete *power-house* when it comes to the abilities and ATKS he uses; but he fights you using *karma, intelligence, etc.* He's basically a cheating genius at the end of it. But Undyne actually *earns her own DETERMINATION,* at death-point; when she realizes she's the *true hero* the World is depending on to keep the races alive. Hence why the OST is named "But The Earth Refused To Die." It's all an analogy. She'll stay alive for her own race, and end you. (Undyne is Earth because the World is depending on her. She's Undying/refusing to die.) Sans uses karmic-retribution; meaning if you sin or do bad deeds - *it hurts you.* But if he fought someone who has done *good* deeds it would do the *opposite* than what happens during Sans's fight - they would actually be healed etc.
sorry, but there's a difference between a determined hero that wants to die just to save his kind, a bone and the freaking god of HYPERDEATH he's a god, the easiest fight, but the strongest ennemy, he has the power to reset, and has more DT than us, if DT makes the strength in this game, then Azzy makes himself the strongest pretty easily not only in monsters, but humans too PS: that's why don't have the option to die in this fight, cause we wouldn't be able to come back, it would be the true gameover. and a monster that can make u truly waste 10 dollars in real life (not being able to play undertale again) is absolutely the strongest creature in a video game
But what would happen if a human and monster go together and made a baby before the humans vs. monsters war? Wouldn't the child then have half a human soul and half a monster soul....or would it fuse together and become a god (like Chara and Asriel)? Which would mean that that human would have to have the "Determination" soul trait via genetics, so that would mean that humans can than one or more than one soul trait (or would combining two different soul traits create a new soul trait (example: Perseverance trait + Integrity trait = Genius/Theorist trait)? WHY SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS?!
She's the only monster that can naturally produce Determination. I hate the fanfics that Alphys injected her with Determination. Toby wanted this character to be special as the true heroine. She laughs in the face of death. Watch EKG's video on 5 reasons Undyne is a badass.

Enjoyed! I hope the next video would talk about characters people might have forgotten about, such as River Person. I've been thinking about him, he is aware of gaster, and he does warn us about him by saying "beware of the man who speaks in hands." Or talk about weird things that the protagonist goes through, such as finding a number on a paper stuck on a fishing rod. Or being called by someone who thinks we are "G." I really enjoy your vids, and their main ideas too. But if you'd get us somehow to understand those I'll appreciate it, thank you!
underlab nice vid you should make a vid that is a list of all the monsters that you never even have a chance to kill/meet in the genoside route, and give reasons why u cant encounter them for example: shop keepers= snowdin rabbits(ever notis that in the entier game you never battle any bunies, bears, or mice), burger pans, gerson, tem shop,
Wow, this is actually a really cool idea. Most people I've heard assumed that Alphys gave her her Determination, but I always agreed with you-I don't think she'd want to risk her crush becoming a puddle on the floor. But the idea that she just got it on her own is a pretty cool idea, and something that I've never heard before. Good job. (And Undyne is most definitely my favorite character. Hence the profile picture.)
Theory: alphys injected her with a small amount of determination, not enough to melt her. Then, she created an eyepatch to keep the determination dormant and avoid the risk. In the undyne the undying battle, she sacrifices herself, taking off the eye patch and letting the determination flow. At the end she melts, meaning that the determination has made it's effect.
On my second Genocide Run, I made it to the last attack in the Sans fight on my first try. Unfortunately, when I got to the Gaster Blasters, my laptop chose just the right moment to run out of battery and shut down.
Undyne has both eyes, if you read flavor text and look at her sprite from either side you'll realize the eye is still there and works, she just wears the patch because it looks cool or gives a boost to aiming like in metal gear and some anime.
Goosebumps are said to be an old reaction to something we feel threatened by (there’s some fun fact out there about it) I get goosebumps every time I hear “But the Earth Refused to Die”, ESPECIALLY during her monologue on the genocide route *Therefore, I feel threatened by Undyne Undying*
Underlab please read this i think about multiple timelines jumping around in the timeline where genocide run takes place green/kindness went on genocide and killed alot of people and as we know undyne killed green absorbing his determination from the monsters he killed but this only happens in the genocide route because chara was awakened before frisks power came along on his/her genocide letting undyne just a bit of determenation like half of frisks soul for scale letting her not aware or able to reset runs but be able to survive after death
2:56 NONONONONO! WRONG! Undyne is THE STRONGEST, maybe second to MTT Neo, but i am not really sure if his ridicilously low defense is natural of that for or is just because of "you". Still, Sans is THE WEAKEST MONSTER IN TE GAME! How could you get that wrong??? ;^;
gabeshredspaper exactly. So it is not strong; it is HARD. It is just that this is a really common misunderstanding, i can't stand to it after seeing it so many times :"/
For all you die hard Sans fans out there... Fuck Sans. Undyne is so underrated as a character. She is so much better than Sans and she needs much more love. Sans only stepped in and stopped you when you killed his brother, he didn't care about anyone else. All he thinks about is papyrus. While Undyne, Undyne cares about everyone, every monster, EVERY HUMAN. She put someone's life before her own. She never gave up hope, she kept going to the very end. Like in the normal route how she just melts, trying so hard to stay alive, to not die...because she doesn't want the underground to be unguarded. She has one job and that is to protect everyone and by dying she is failing this. fangirls fight me all you want. Undyne is the TRUE hero, she is much more powerful than Sans and she needs more love. I understand why you like her so much as a character. I mean 95% of the fandom only cares about the sans and papyrus... I find Undyne a much better character and she has to be one of my favorite video game characters, ever.
tbh all the people who scrolled down this far arent sans fan girls. But if this gets higher up in the comment section (which it should) well.. expect a flame war
Your theory on Undyne is just like mine so already like this. Though I can't help but wonder if she had another monster with her that was effected by determination would they meld together and stabilize like the ones in the lab and if so would that make her truly undying?
I think that determination work like a type of energie. The more you have the stronger your attacks and soul get. That could explain why monster can't, in most cases, use it. Their bodyes can't contain it properly since they are made from magic power.
Determination is defined as the will to survive and to change your fate though iirc and that's the key, I think. She could well be equally determined in both routes, but her focus is split in neutral runs - she's determined to stay alive, to protect people, to collect your soul, to see Alphys again. She's incredibly determined, determined enough that she melts herself, but not determined enough about any specific goal to accomplish it. Her main 'goal' is 'don't die' but the only reason that's her goal is there's a whole host of other things she wants to do, and her attention would have been on those - regrets - not on keeping alive. In genocide on the other hand, she's got one singular, overwhelming purpose: stop you at all costs. The only thing she's determined to do is kill you to save everyone, and consequently is able to change her fate... at least for a little while, and keep from dissolving. The only thing she's determined to do is save everyone and everything from you, and that need supersedes all.
This is one of the times when I argue about big and small letter words. According to the game Humans have Determination with a capital D. This is a very specific element to humans in game lore which is separate from regular determination with a lower case d. The lowercase determination is possible for Monsters to possess and Undyne realizes this when she says she understands now what Alphys meant. She never needed the capitalized Determination to fight on. Only regular determination as she had something to fight for. Due to such a loss of hope among most of the inhabitants, they had no reason to realize there was a kind of determination that monsters could possess. I'd say that only the Queen and Alphys have come close to understanding it, with only Alphys able to tap into it when she must evacuate her fellow monsters on the Genocide run.
I always thought that it was because they had been trapped underground for so long, they had lost the will to live, but since Undine knows that you’re the last human soul needed to break the barrier, she regains her hope and becomes determined.
This is why Undyne is my 2nd favorite character (Papyrus is #1), because of how determined she is, I always thought it just came from her, and her motivation to free or save the Underground in the Pacifist or Genocide runs.
Maybe the way it works is similar to this but monsters can possible gain determination naturally instead of being injected with it, but only with a big enough reason to obtain that determination, showing how undyne persists after her death in the neutral and genocide and how she is more powerful in genocide because of her reason to stop you. Idk if that was already said its midnight while im sending this so if im really wrong then yeah
I think i heard of a theory that undyne is a child of a monster and human. A human with determination, and an "undine" monster which is a sea woman being that looks for a lover. That would explain why she has natural determination.
I think she’s an amalgamate whatever that is, she (kinda) melts when she dies and then turns into dust and there’s undye saying she has determination. Which humans have to reset upon death
I like this idea... Very interesting. As for favorite character: Gaster is top. Sans is close second. and Undyne is a very close third. I really like the mysterious characters. Don't know why though. heh
*I remember in the "Your soul mate" fan video, there are music titles both in English and in Japanese . *And when it comes to Battle Against a True Hero , the Japanese title says Determination , in red. *In that case,I think Undyne somehow generated her determination power all by her self, and she's the first monster who successfully done that.
My theory is that being filled with determination is different than becoming determined. Let me explain. The former is a type of magic and is what Alphys harvested and injected into the soon-to-be amalgamates and what Frisk uses to save and reset. The latter is what Undyne has, not a magic, but a feeling. There is a whole bunch more details that I made up about the exact science of it, but that's too complicated for a simple comment.
i could see the alphys theory working though. Because lets remember "boss souls" are far stronger than any other monster soul. And that might've allow her to survive and retain determination

"doens't really rely on magic"
so from where the hell these GLOWING, FLOATING, TOTALLY-NOT-MAGIC SPEARS (that btw AREN'T, by any means, her main form of attacking) come from? :v
Maybe she's attacking with her spear from all sides.
Maybe it’s more like “not AS reliant as magic but still uses it”
I think Alphys did give Undyne DETERMINATION but only during the Neutral and Genocide route. But during the Neutral route, because so many monsters are still alive, you aren't seen as a huge threat so she isn't as determined, so she gives in to the side-effects. But with the Genocide route, she's so determined that she's able to persist past death and fight one more time.

But in the Genocide route, she was so determined that she was able to use the DETERMINATION properly and she was able to go on past death, like the player can.

well in my opinion she forms her own determination due to the threat of you trying to destroy everything and so when shes about to die she forms this determination to try and stop you and the reason she melts in neutral is because shes trying to use her determination to only hurt instead of doing the right thing
This is pretty plausible, I believe the determination is generated by herself
That's actually a good idea.
1st hardest - MTT Neo
The Raging Inferno the hardest is jerry idiot!
I don't feel so good after reading all of that...
A capsule in the bloodstream would have the same effect as a blood clot which can end in fatal gangrene, but other than that, good theory!

I always thought that Alphys gave her Determination. That's why she melts like the Amalgamates. She might have that sort of strength to survive.
NGAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good theory
Its Alphys Special Ice Cream that has Determination in it
Nice Cream Guy: *TRIGGERED*
My theory on Undyne's determination: She had it all along, and the reason she didn't melt?
Plot design.
And because in the true lab, it says the monsters melted because they lacked the physical matter to hold detemmienation, which is a requirement because monsters are more in tune with their souls, so they can do MAGIC which holds their body together before they fall down. This is what Undyne avoids, by having the physical matter to hold determination.
also hOi!!!!
just wanted to preise something:
the srongest boss is Asriel
on the other hand, the hardest boss is sans
Technically, Sans in only the hardest when you have high LOVE in the lore
which means genocide, though sans apparently has its power not from determination as most people think, cuz flowey actually mentions him as smiley trashbag in an easteregg, and says that he caused him his "fair amount of resets" or something like that, which means sans had its power before any collected human soul got down here (and when i say collected that means except chara cuz her/his soul disappeared) which means that sans has his power NATURALLY
sry for the long answer :3
She's Undying/refusing to die.)
Sans uses karmic-retribution; meaning if you sin or do bad deeds - *it hurts you.* But if he fought someone who has done *good* deeds it would do the *opposite* than what happens during Sans's fight - they would actually be healed etc.
sorry, but there's a difference between a determined hero that wants to die just to save his kind, a bone and the freaking god of HYPERDEATH he's a god, the easiest fight, but the strongest ennemy, he has the power to reset, and has more DT than us, if DT makes the strength in this game, then Azzy makes himself the strongest pretty easily not only in monsters, but humans too
PS: that's why don't have the option to die in this fight, cause we wouldn't be able to come back, it would be the true gameover.
and a monster that can make u truly waste 10 dollars in real life (not being able to play undertale again) is absolutely the strongest creature in a video game
undyne really was the strongest ennemy in the geno route, but in the others. no
ı dont know why but ı think youre the boy version of alphys
Alphys being his RUclips avatar; I can see why you think that.
Except, you know, without the social anxiety and weeb, which is half of Alphys’s entire character.
You have read too much fanfiction, friend.
the question of crossbreeding does have merit to me as the fact the the only magic she ever uses is her spear I.E. an artifact
:o maybe that's how 7 human could use magic
She's the only monster that can naturally produce Determination. I hate the fanfics that Alphys injected her with Determination. Toby wanted this character to be special as the true heroine. She laughs in the face of death. Watch EKG's video on 5 reasons Undyne is a badass.

Luckily Underlab hadn't thrown the FISH in while making this video. He sure REELED this theory in through.
AAAAAAAAAAAY~!
Enjoyed!
I hope the next video would talk about characters people might have forgotten about, such as River Person. I've been thinking about him, he is aware of gaster, and he does warn us about him by saying "beware of the man who speaks in hands."
Or talk about weird things that the protagonist goes through, such as finding a number on a paper stuck on a fishing rod. Or being called by someone who thinks we are "G."
I really enjoy your vids, and their main ideas too. But if you'd get us somehow to understand those I'll appreciate it, thank you!
I absolutely LOVE these videos!! Plz keep making them!! ❤️

Undyne turns into undying form for a very short time when you kill her and not doing genocide
I love your videos, keep up the amazing work!
underlab nice vid
you should make a vid that is a list of all the monsters that you never even have a chance to kill/meet in the genoside route, and give reasons why u cant encounter them
for example: shop keepers= snowdin rabbits(ever notis that in the entier game you never battle any bunies, bears, or mice), burger pans, gerson, tem shop,
Last time I was this early people didn't use this type of comment
NintendoGaming64 -Smash bros Mario Kart and more! so pretty mutch never
Those early jokes have been going on since pre-RUclips though. They just became really popular and corny now. LOL
NintendoGaming64 -Smash bros Mario Kart and more! - OOOHHHH! NOW I GET THE JOKE! XD
last time you were that early i wasn't born so i couldn't tell you to stop.

I got a theory:
Why does undyne always give you a spear even though she is so determined to kill you?
Because she knows that she's wrong and she wants to give a fighting chance.
Frisk is just using their weapon to block.
@@mouthlesshaternooooooooo.... Thats a good point though
On my second genocide run i needed 3 try for undyne and 1 for sans
M7R4N 64 for my 801 genocide route no hit undyne 1 try no hit sans 1 try.
Garrett Watkins IF YOU WERE REALLY FRIENDS WITH THEM........YOU WOULDN'T COME BACK! You know that makes SANS!
Badumtss!
Holy crap dude!!!
On my second Genocide Run, I made it to the last attack in the Sans fight on my first try. Unfortunately, when I got to the Gaster Blasters, my laptop chose just the right moment to run out of battery and shut down.
Dude I beat u xD I got killed by undyne twice and sans once lol
this video definitely deserves a thumbs up! 👍
Undyne has both eyes, if you read flavor text and look at her sprite from either side you'll realize the eye is still there and works, she just wears the patch because it looks cool or gives a boost to aiming like in metal gear and some anime.
She doesn't embody the hopes and dreams. She's not Asriel.
Asriel Dreemurr she does because no one thinks sans can stop you
Asriel Dreemurr either do you
Hopes and Dreams and SAVE The World are Frisk's Songs while His Theme and Burn in Despair are Asriel's in my eyes so I would have to disagree.
Asriel Dreemurr prince can I say that she represents and protects the hopes and dreams
Jeez. Give me a break and take a joke please.
She said she was *Determined*
Your videos are amazing!
Goosebumps are said to be an old reaction to something we feel threatened by (there’s some fun fact out there about it)
I get goosebumps every time I hear “But the Earth Refused to Die”, ESPECIALLY during her monologue on the genocide route
*Therefore, I feel threatened by Undyne Undying*
Hello Underlab!

Wow I'm so surprised that sans is your favourite character
@@insertusernamehere8999 I am actually not.
Underlab please read this
i think about multiple timelines jumping around in the timeline where genocide run takes place green/kindness went on genocide and killed alot of people and as we know undyne killed green absorbing his determination from the monsters he killed but this only happens in the genocide route because chara was awakened before frisks power came along on his/her genocide letting undyne just a bit of determenation like half of frisks soul for scale letting her not aware or able to reset runs but be able to survive after death
She is my favorite Undertale character. This video gives a pretty good sum of it.
2:56 NONONONONO! WRONG! Undyne is THE STRONGEST, maybe second to MTT Neo, but i am not really sure if his ridicilously low defense is natural of that for or is just because of "you". Still, Sans is THE WEAKEST MONSTER IN TE GAME! How could you get that wrong??? ;^;
Drago 303 he's talking about the fights
gabeshredspaper exactly. So it is not strong; it is HARD. It is just that this is a really common misunderstanding, i can't stand to it after seeing it so many times :"/
Drago 303 to be honest that is true Sans is the weakest enemy he only does one damage.............. per frame lol
Drago 303 I'm saying that sans is the most powerful and the most weakest character
Sans isn't that powerful.
Still I could never make it past him.

FortifyXGames *is an asriel fan* okay..
tbh all the people who scrolled down this far arent sans fan girls. But if this gets higher up in the comment section (which it should) well.. expect a flame war

ages ago you told us you'd make an undyne video.........
AND YOU FINALLY HAVE!!!!! yay

Yey. Thank you for reading my comment.
Gwen Paul nah, you dont need to, i will forget your comment 5 minutes or so :/
Undyne cool but sans is the best!
Pushing your body past all it's limits, that's determination, and it can hurt quite a bit.
Because of this, i unsubscribed...

AWNSER, the pink smoothie
my fellow true undertale fans alredy knew why this is cannon
yes when you find the shoes it is highly advised that the human died there the grass that alphys uses contains the determination of the dead human
I never even thought of that
Trust me, Sans is a lot more easier than Undyne The Undying...
Vyrious mines opposite.
Took me more than 20 tries for Undyne.
Took me a year to beat sans.

Determination.
They've only tested (?) it on "fallen" monsters, but maybe the live ones can handle more?
Undyne got triggered when she seen Sans sleeping at his hotdog stand
I think i heard of a theory that undyne is a child of a monster and human. A human with determination, and an "undine" monster which is a sea woman being that looks for a lover. That would explain why she has natural determination.
0:02 my favorite sprite in undertale
I think she’s an amalgamate whatever that is, she (kinda) melts when she dies and then turns into dust and there’s undye saying she has determination. Which humans have to reset upon death
*beginning plays* undyne , that was very heroic.
3:22 Asreil? Is that you?!!!!!!
I like this idea... Very interesting.
As for favorite character: Gaster is top. Sans is close second. and Undyne is a very close third. I really like the mysterious characters. Don't know why though. heh
1:51 dude what is that sentence im crying
