Well chitt happens. Ya needed a machete for the tall grass, but the most important thing is that you had the essentials you needed! I know you gotta have ya coffee! Me too. Great effort Greg! Hope you enjoyed your time. NZ.
Greg, you are the only one that do ads in the video, that I do not skip through because I like what you do so much so I want to support in any way I can :)
Love the videos Greg. I was a lot more adventurous during my days in the US Marine Corps. It’s nice to virtually live through you. Best wishes, brother.
Haha I just got out last October and I wanna use the knowledge I got in the marines ( you don’t need a expensive tent or gear, give me a yoga Matt and a starter sleeping bag and a tarp and buy a few mres off eBay just in case we don’t catch anything and I’m set ) to my advantage and start a RUclips channel of beginner broke boy camping to inspire people even if you have no money and know nothing about living off land everyone has to start somewhere, I wanna inspire people that it’s possible!
@@brendanwielders8113 yeah the 30 day survival of the Rockies I've probably watched 2 or 3 times of each video from each perspective as well as the compellation video they made. would be really cool to see then go back for the same spot to see if the camp is still there and maybe spend a week or another 30 days.
Out of all your videos, between you and Fowler in Hawaii, this was my favorite episode. I wish you did two days out there and went fishing, too. Maybe next time.
Love it when you and the little other fella from Maine get together it's like monkeys in a barrel. Hilarious commentaries we can't get enough of. Keep the adventure going this is great stuff.
Greg the more ideas you get that don't work the more I enjoy it. So I love everything about your videos. At least you don't pretend, but instead you are real and true.
Just 15 months after this, the fires began in Maui. I thought how ironic it was when Greg said I hope I don't smell smoke!"" I am heartbroken for the people of Maui, as we all are. Praying everyone is okay, and it's incredible to see everyone coming together helping each other. ❤❤❤.
Oh Greg, been there done that! About 45 years ago I was walking in the bush on Oahu. Just meandering down a hill when I stopped and noticed I was in the middle of a bunch of 2-inch spiders that had their webs in all these bushes around me! So glad I got out of there without being bit! Whew :)
I'm sworn in Canadian citizen and I oath my life and love for God and the country we live in. Love is always the way. Love you all so much 💗. God bless u.
We all love you Here in Australia Greg,,,, And thanks to your awesome support editing your knowledge of the bush,I would love to show you both Australia 🇦🇺, Kangaroo, snakes, and the best fish you can have over a campfire oven or spit, let's not forget our lizards and famous mudcrabs at a five star eating.... you guys need to do Australia....bring shorts that's it....free balling all the way
I know for a fact that the trap you made would not hold up to the hogs ive seen in our traps. They go BALLISTIC! They ram the hog panel we use with incredible force. I don't know if the hogs there have a lower aggression level but the ones here in Texas would absolutely obliterate that trap. I love the ever changing content Greg. Always a treat.
I love, Greg, how you integrate your primal nature with the technology you were bestown and make quality video of your "bush" lifestyle regardless of your locale... Keep up the good work and/but never lose sight your survival expertise.
I have bingeing his channel for the last week..i actually submitted to be a contestant on alone and naked and afraid i love this life and he is such a inspiration for me
Good for you and Zac.. Good for you Greg.. Im so Happy for you . You have no Idea. So Happy for you.. Big Hugs Greg.. Never know how life goes.. But if you do see me again, Guaranteed, i will have my fishing and cooking gear with me. Cheers from Dry gulch. B.C.Canada~~
Apparently the best wood to use for the bow drill in Hawaii is Oceania as a survival option. This wood is the flowering tree Hau. Or to us mainlander's, Hibiscus. It is light and dry, like Balsa wood.
Amazing images of wildlife in Hawaii. I expected you and Zach would be spending more time in the wild on this one but you gave us a better sense of local country living.
Greg, I watch a lot of these types of shows, grew up in northeast PA. Hunt fish camped out for days. 66 now live in Az.do west coast for now, I LIKE U.R.SHOWS... GOD BLESS 😎

Fin is beautiful, We've got four Shepherds , they aren't for people that can't relate to them. You've had Fin long enough to know what I mean. Your an independent fellow that enjoys life. I love it.
Hi Greg, Glad you had a good time in Hawaii, and i am glad you made it home safe... The weather was great there for you, and i am sure the heat was a bit to handle, especially coming from a much colder area...funny how you go home to snow; what a contrast to the Hawaiian heat...Thank you for sharing, Much Love and Be Well
Glad to see you enjoying my stomping grounds! I'd be happy to take you guys to the real Hawaii next time you visit, or at least good camping spots lol.
What a great adventure you had with Zach in Hawaii Greg. Although it's a short period of time but it is still a great videos. Can't wait for your Australia adventure.

Greg it was great watching another movie of your adventures. Hawaii is such a beautiful state I would love to visit some day. You have so much knowledge and I keep learning from you and Zach. Thanks again for sharing another great video. Right on Greg. 👍

Looking forward to seeing your Australia adventures, I've been living there for a decade on and off it will be interesting to see how you use the terrain. Thanks Greg, really enjoyed it.
Great job Greg, and I enjoyed the soundtrack you chose as well throughout. You are soo calm man...when you realized you had to move the pig trap...you were so matter of fact about it. Love the trap...interested to see you build a Davinci Shelter!
Greg my man your right sometimes the simple things are the best. You continued adventure after Zack left was very humble nice paced n informal I enjoyed it very much thank you very much 😎
Try to make a cold brew coffee. Fill a cup, jar, or ziplock bag with cold water and add ground coffee. Let it sit for overnight or longer, and you will get a perfect cold brew. The same infusion just takes longer.
i bet Finn was so happy to see his daddy back.❤ its nice living in the northeast Greg i wouldn't give it up for anything we have such beautiful seasons and nature but it is nice going on a vacation to somewhere beautiful like Hawaii to really appreciate how good life at home really is.
Great video movie. I feel bad for you that you did not get to experience more of the beach life of Hawaii. Your creative projects took lots of your time. Did you ever catch a pig? Burr, the snow storm was a cold welcome home. Take care. 💖🐰
I love that you're in Hawaii a tropical region as I am from guam a very similar environmental climate and I'm excited to see how you'll adapt to such an environment. Love the videos Greg been watching since you and Zack were running around canada great stuff.
Wow man that grass looked harsh! Great series man, I liked the trap and the bow drill experiment that was pretty interesting, and the boiling water in a bottle was a new one on me, always seem to learn new things which is a pretty cool thing, can’t wait for Australia now 👍
