Kern GmbH is one of the larger offset printing companies in Germany with a total output of around 60 million sheets per year. Various digital printing systems complement the offset printers and are mostly used for individualisation of pre-printed offset products. ""The demand for individual short runs in offset quality is also growing rapidly. We were therefore looking for a new technology that could offer this quality. The same applies to environmental sustainability,"" says André Kern, who runs the company, which is Blue Angel certified among other things, together with his brother.
