Thank you for sharing this news with us. Unfortunately, the current NFF cannot be trusted, just like the previous administration. The NFF appears to have little concern for the welfare of football; their primary focus seems to be their personal gain. They constantly claim there is no money, yet their actions suggest otherwise. Many view them as corrupt individuals. Until competent and honest people are selected and appointed, progress will remain unattainable. As Okocha rightly pointed out, corruption within our Football Association has reached alarming levels. Sadly, under these circumstances, I doubt we will qualify.
Honestly i don't think Nigeria will qualify for the next world cup. Too much nonsense going on. I also want us to perform much better, we need to go back to our 1994 & 1998 levels in terms of performance.
each time we keep blaming players why the NFF are the devilz in a shell the midia are busy covering the nff this ppl are evil God pls help us in kikine den out ijn Amen
Has there been any NFF administration that isn’t corrupt, every player has a bad account of representing Nigeria. Chinedu Obasi was a proper baller, so sad he Nigeria did him dirty.
Let's stop this emotional way of addressing issues. I am one of the people who didn't like Stephen Keshi's management of the Super Eagles, and even when he won the AFCON in 2013 I still wasn't pleased because I felt he "cheated" his way to that success, because he dropped many good players for some unknown quantities prior to that tournament. He went ahead to win the AFCON and everything is now history. Now to come to Obasi Ogbuke, he didn't play any qualifiers to the 2014 WC, just like Keshi didn't use Odemwingie, Taiwo and many other players towards achieving his aim to the tournament. So, saying he was dropped because he couldn't pay is half-truth, maybe if he said Keshi didn't find him worthy to make the team because he didn't pay, he could have been a bit justified. Many of you journalists are hypocritical too, you are all reporting it like it is the NFF that was collecting the money from this players. Check the Confederations Cup 2013 squad selection to that tournament and see how Keshi selected the likes of Gambo Mohammed, Solomon Kwambe, Eze Nwachukwu, Agbim and many other whatnots to the tournament, but to call a spade a spade is always hard for you guys!!! Even Odemwingie and Yobo were only recalled because Nigerians were on his neck that they must be selected. Our local coaches are criminally-minded, and at times I don't blame them especially U-20 and U-17 coaches because they are hardly paid their salaries, so they devise means to make money through strange selections but was Keshi not being paid? May God rest his soul, but let's be sincere to ourselves, his selections between 2012 and 2015 calls for questions. In a good country, petitions should be opened to investigate how he managed his selections within that period. Could you imagine that Sunday Mba that won him the AFCON 2013, couldn't even make the World Cup team and 11 of the 23 he took to the Confederations Cup 2013 didn't make the 2014 World Cup? How do you explain that? Ogbuke was not selected by Keshi even though he is a good player, but I know if Keshi were to be alive he could have justified it by saying he did not play the qualifiers. Ogbuke should be truthful too. We need to be honest in Nigeria.
it's better that our journalists don't touch this matter because that society we call Nigeria would destroy their careers. i have always believed the truth to be in the comment section. indeed both sides of an issue from the highest level put their version of events here. Us wey know how things dey go, make we use this section inform ourselves.
Let him mention names,I do not like this blanket statement to paint a whole body bad.Let him be specific.I don't like this at all.Abi the person Na Spirit

We need more players to speak up and media outlets like you guys to expose them all. Nigeria deserves better
Exactly. Rather than coming together and suing them on global stage. To make sure the next generation doesn't have to go through it.
Obasi , Taye Taiwo
These guys have suffered a lot from this kind of attitude.
Like what jay jay said it goes beyond getting a coach brother let us tell ourselves the truth Nigeria nff is very corrupt
Why was the late supper eagles coach Stephen keshi all at loggerheads with the NFF, it is because of corruption.
The NFF has to be audited.
