    Just watched this and my Gouldians started to hope and sing all over the show. They are stunning birds.
    I can't wait to pair mine up at the end of January.
    Even got my black closed rings at the ready.
    Thanks for a great channel mate.

      I was in the same boat. I found a breeder who was willing to travel and bring them to me.

    What were those babies towards the end? Young cockatiels? Also, what were the ones at the very end... the ones that acted like little hens...

    so sad to keep birds on cages 😢

      I agree. As a child i wanted to keep everything as a pet. I had frogs, yabbies, rabbits, rats, lizards in cages. Now as an adult I no longer keep any pets but instead observe animals in nature. It's much more rewarding to see them living free in their natural habitat.

    this is a terrible, blind animal abuse. Shipping them just to put them in cages? This is so sad. I can't watch.

    • @BudgieandAviaryBirds
      @BudgieandAviaryBirds  3 года назад +2

      you do realise they have been bred in captivity for a long time now? How is keeping a bird animal abuse lol

    • @meticulous9122
      @meticulous9122 3 года назад +1

      @@BudgieandAviaryBirds the answer is in your question. Life in captivity for exotic animals is an abuse, unless they are rescued. Not only that- you are also sharing vidoes of them in cages and tell people you got them shipped. This breaks my heart. I hope you don't sell them after breeding. Poor animals.

      It is debatable - my aviary is 6 meter long and about 4 metre wide- they are endangered in the wild - captivity is what may save these birds and other species from possible extinction in future

    • @francoisvanwyk8361

      Captive birds won't survive if "rescued" they already did tests in Australia and found that captive birds will not survive long in the wild
