Congradulation on this video! I ve been playing tenor and sop. for quiet some time, and never tried a Saxello. Love the sound, and great combination with your mpc from Joe. All the best from Ont. Canada Mario Malette
Hi Mario, funny you should mention Ontario. I'm from Toronto. Small world...even though the web is worldwide. I came across this video because I'm saving up to buy a soprano. I had never even heard of a saxello until today...an interesting variation on the standard soprano. I love this guy's sound. And what a beautiful horn. Too bad that Long & McQuade doesn't carry them.
Wayne, Toronto Musician Hi Wayne Yes,Saxello is an interesting soprano. I ve owned four sopranos so far. My last one is a straight Yanagisawa 992 Bronze.. Mouthpieces are also a challenge to find the right match. I would like to try a Saxello one day,but to buy one,,i am not sure if that .. Long And McQuade,no,,they are not very much specialized in saxophones,,and i would nt buy a horn from them, unless it would be a great deal, which i doubt. You better buy from a private. All the best Mario
Ton son est vraiment sublime. Le grain est terrible! Je suis motivé par ce fameux missing link de chez soprano planet. Le joues tu toujours? pourrais-tu nous faire partager ton experience avec en quelques mots? merci musicalement
Your playing is fantastic. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. I am saving money to buy a sopranoplanet mouthpiece to pair with my R&C R1 Curved soprano. It seems definitely worth the money. A question, whats the name of the song you are playing? Is there a play along avilable? Thanks Antonio Sanchez
Jean, you bring out the best in the Rampone Saxello! Excellent sound/ tone!
