NassLee exposes that John can’t really dance with his “Popping”. Little to no footwork, the waves are nice, but repetitive...doing choreographed skits with the bottle...stuff from his RUclips channel. I expect more from John...time to expand that vocabulary. He was offbeat a lot too. Sorry.
@@PDG--rj8eg J Rock is right I think the majority of comments are coming from fan boys of John who don't understand the dance or don't realise that poppin battles and the rules are different from showcases that PJ is used to. Its a shame because I am a huge fan of Poppin John. Been following him since 2007 and pretty much got into Poppin because of him. It pains me to say this but I really preferred his style from 2007 to say early 2012 (before Non Stop collab) I think he is now focused on being a performer and has that approach when he battles whereas back in the time frame I mentioned, he was so much more raw, and really really freestyled in his battles. Creating things on the spot. I do recognise he has consciously taken this new approach to his dance as he mentioned I'm Otis interview. Which is to Master a particular set of MOVES rather than a jack of all trades type of approach it just does not hold weight in the high level battle culture we are in now. I also think it restricts you as you become too too repetitive. I still have the utmost respect for John though as he has created his OWN moves and style so is definitely worthy of being a future legend.
Anyone who thinks popping john won are either fanboys or delusional, you can tell by the judges faces they know he isnt dancing to the music, doing routines or skits he choreographed. Look at the 5:55 mark, they were definitely unimpressed by his water bottle routine. John wasn’t dancing to the music or grooving at all and nasslee acknowledged it and mocked him for it. It’s a popping battle not a youtube performance. Nasslee came with rhythm, musicality, and foundation.
Poppin John is my man yet I respect each individual who has the desire, discipline, and bone and muscle structure that can muniplate like they do. Poppin John makes it look so easy and yet I know the hours of training and discipline it takes to get your body in top top shape. These men are amazing in their own skill set. Prehaps Poppin John will come to Chattanooga Tennessee so that This old woman fan can see him in action. I want his autograph too
I guess if by hits and beat kills you mean uncontrolled sloppy dancing then Nasslee definitely deserved the win. He brought some pretty crapy uncreative popping to the floor and it got him the win. Go figure. At least PJ is smooth af even when he is not on his A game.

popping John creates a space , robot style , animation , dimestop , slowmotion , clean clean and clean , so judge just like boogaloo style , not robot style .
Yeah like the moves but it's been done and done and done now. Basically I come away thinking I didn't see much dancing. I like dancing plus a pop that's where the money is for me.

People complaining John should have won: John's technique is great but he has a lot less musicality than Nasslee. Most likely because he doesn't know the songs and can't beatkill as well.
The winner of this final should've exhibited various forms of popping skills not various forms of the electric slide. John should've had this. Nasslee needs to sharpen up. You could tell he was struggling to express dance moves thus the reason he was aggressive and charging at John throughout. He was trying to make up for the creative skills he was lacking.

I still come back every once in a while to see Nasslee's sets. He just blows me away everytime.
