I´m trying to use my scraps for the moment. And had run out of ideas. This was perfect! I love the one with embossing on both the patterned part and the card panel. 😍 thanks for sharing :)
Those are all so lovely! Thank you for especially for sharing the technique with the embossing folder, where you embossed both the die cut and a white background, and then laid the die cut in a "matchy" place over the embossed background. Great idea!
it was a last minute thought. I kept looking at it and thinking the background was too blank. So pleased with how well it all looked in the end

Beautiful cards Sasha! Another thing to try, would be to leave a little space between the strips, and add glitter. Obviously the it would adhere to the double sided tape and give the card a little more sparkle & shine. 😊 Lots of Love & Crafty Hugs, My Sweet Friend 😊

I love scrap ideas. We all have loads and can’t just dispose of them. I’ve made tags and banners of paper strips and used them as a focal point on a card and they look great! Keep those ideas coming! 😊😊
I’ve got to get a handle on my scraps and this is perfect. My jar is overflowing and these ideas will use up a great deal of them.

Great ideas! I think if you had paper you really don’t like that this would be a good way to use it. Mix it in with other papers to minimize what you don’t like about it. Thanks for your great idea!

I just realised that the card was a die cut flower shape cut in half . But to me it looked a bit like a birthday cake so I will try that ,thanks again❤

im hoping to do a wide range of techniques purely to do exactly that :) either remind of something they forgot or show something new, and hopefully all within about 5 minutes so it's a nice short one

Thanks to you, I've been able to work through my full sheets of DSP and my scraps, too. I love these patterns and am always impressed by the way the backgrounds look using all sorts of different papers. I was on a kick during a vacation break to make just backgrounds from strips (trying to keep what I needed to transport down) so I have a lot of them to use, but your ideas will be added to my "idea notebook." Thanks!

Loving the different ways to use scraps. These cards are amazing and easy. I have a suggestion for you - Look up Love from Lizzy she is in the UK - she has some amazing products my favorites are the Pinstripes and dots, butterflies, stars and star burst. These are flat and great for card for mailing. Sorry for the shamless plug I am not afliaited only a loyal customer.
Thanks for this inspiration. This may be my new way to use paper I don't love. The pattern will be lost in narrow pieces among the others.

@@SashaReade , I know, it's crazy. I'm lucky to get it in 2 wks. Orders from Simon Says, which is not that far directly south of us in Ohio took even longer and the order was dropped off in Montreal instead of Toronto ,then picked up by Canada post. I could have driven there faster. Lol
