@@DanBrand99 Since I beat it, catalog muffin has had his attack speed nerfed, cultist now has 25 range instead of 30, shielded muffin resistance reduced. Although lil exec only has 5 overclocks now, he does gain an attack speed boost after his 4th overclock, so overall, I'd say this strat still works and is probably easier now.
The pushing is the worst i always die because when catalog muffin die most of my units go to the same place as tarnished then just die because archer didnt kill specialist muffin in time before he launch his rocket
Good guide you can replace frigus with Conjurer I found it easier using him with the same strategy here but use archer instead of crossbow if you use Conjurer since he already takes care of the cultists and specialist muffins Also I personally think it's better to start spawning builders at the 1,100 money mark because at this range builders create walls more consistently than in the 900 money mark
I used noir a bunch of times before deciding to try something else, I used spiked battler, titan, but tarnished worked best because A: Catalog can't apply trip effect to tarnish B: Unlike noir, tarnish moves super slow which is... actually a good thing since he wont run away from healorb and doesn't trigger enemy treasure early C: Doesn't get killed by the jump ability easily Even though he's expensive, you can get him by spawning builder wisely despite powerhouse increasing spawn cooldown
idk what to spam after my tairshed dies and when tarished dies my ranged units cant stand their ground and like all of my priates die to sheld bashers and tanks
you know the last comment that i made yea i was on judgement day 2 stars now on judgement day 3 stars let me say to you ... the strat does not work for me at least cuz one i don't have the money to get tarnished a lot of the times two a lot of the times builder battler stack of walss does not work i duble tap my hot key for it to spawn does not work so i need luck to get it and yes i was geting him when i had 900 cash three when i was close to beating him i just died to the cultests so now here i am raging and now feeling nothing but pain from trying to beat the level =(
Sometimes the shield muffin might smack the wall before it can build, it happens a lot, I've spent HOURS on this level, my strat may not work all tilhe time
super cancer aids of a level since catalogue and shields can sync up and destroy your wall instantly I used archer instead of crossbow and switched frigid out for noir so on the winning run only took 6min but yeah thanks for the guide, i was punching walls
@@CommanderAdam5964 get a level 4 bank after using treasure cannon, then just kinda hope your pirate stack gives enough money to buy tarnished before phase 2 catalog comes back and starts attacking walls. After a phase, catalog gets knocked back a little and since frigus slows him down, he takes longer to walk back to your base which is pretty nice ig.
way more than 4 hours worth, I tried with Noir, ended up beating catalog 3 times but then dying in the end because Noir also dies, i gave up using Noir
i just beat it rn using builder healorb slateskin archer lil exec COIL TELAMON and iceball coil and telamon apparently carry hard if you get past phase 2 GG (first time trying that loadout btw)
@@blizzardbeast4034 it’s pretty much the same as every other strat, use powerhouse and treasure upgrade bank once, spawn in a builder so that it blocks the armored muffin, then spawn in lil exec (start spamming slateskin here), then a iceball, then spawn in coil to (hopefully) kill the armored muffins. spam archer for the rest of phase 1 (maybe upgrade bank too sometimes (when you use cannon)) and as soon as cultist does his thing, start spamming healorb. then, once catalog is just about to enter his 2nd phase, spawn telamon then you just kinda spam everything except lil exec (duh) and upgrade the bank sometimes when you feel “safe” (DON’T GET TOO GREEDY!!!) once you enter phase 5, then you have to pray that your telamons got far enough past your ranged stack so that most of your stack stays alive from the tank (you may kill him, but if your stack is dead, you die to tanks) then, once you’ve done all that, you should be set. do note, this is probably not everything i did exactly, since i have bad memory, but these are the key parts that i do remember. also, luck is still a factor. just try a lot, you’ll figure out what exactly to do.
When muffin subchapter first came out, the time it took for builder's wall to build a phase was 1 second, a couple days later when sai battler got removed, he was nerfed so each wall phase took 1.5 seconds to build, I haven't seen any videos of catalog beeing beaten since

Funny fact: frigus and iceball can slow fatboy, is good for more damage
also cola battler slows fatboy so if you combine both it would make him hugely slower

somehow, this strat works so well with noir because of slateskin giving him armor for catalog muffin and i was able to beat it 1st try

like i killed catalog 6 times now and the last time i lost all my crossbows due to builder cooldown causing the tank to blow up my units
