Love the doll! A quick and easy substitute for the silicone pen is candle wax on a stick, either a kebob stick or something like that. just need to top up the wax now and then.

You can make a jewel tool with an old pencil dipped in wax, I made one and it works

What brand do You use for gloosing eyes?
I use Super Sculpey Gloss Glaze. So far it's been the best gloss I've used with others cracking or drying sticky.
