BTS? LOL BTS is an effeminate group like all the other K-pop boy bands. BOys that look like girls. S.K also has a high rate of plastic surgery. A bunch of fakery.

If anything, the music industry has (worldwide) gotten more 'free'. If you want you can just go ahead, write a song and release it to any platform you desire. Who knows, maybe you'll get some fame out of it.
This is ALSO the case for s. Korea. It's just a less popular option.
Back in the 40's -80's (or whatever time before actual free music production) this was generic. This was what everyone heard. (Like BTS, Shawn mendes and many main stream generic pop nowadays). If you wanted to produce music, the ONLY way for you to do this, was to go to a record label, get a deal, and pray it would get on the radio. Music was expensive back then.
And because of this, the only types of music and artists that would get one of these deals, were based on statistics. Songs and genres that already proved to do well. (Also, bear in mind that S. Korea was still pretty conformed back then.)
So there isn't that big of a difference between the way K-pop is produced now, and the way worldwide pop was produced back in the day.
Korea built a music system, the live off of the popularity it has gained. And for them, it works. The music styles changed, but are also still very much the same. These 'idols' (BTS, EXO, NCT, IKON, Stray Kids etc) aren't here necessarily for the music, but for their image. That's why they are called 'idols' and not 'artists'.
This song is not more music than any generic pop song that is produced solely with succes in mind.
Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of traditional music, 1900's music, K-pop and Indie. If you want unique, free, actual 'music' artists and songs. You're not gonna find it here, with most record label produced tunes.
Lmao you didn't have to read this whole paragraph, but if you did, THANK YOU😊. AND REMEMBER; shade is absolutely fucking useless. Don't go a pester others by saying their 'music taste is bad', and yours is far better. That's just low. Everyone has their own tastes and preferences. No need to force yours on them. Just leave eachother be.
