I have attended two of the Count's shows at the Theatre Royal in, uh, Winchester I believe it was. Yes. And both times we were promised that the Count himself would be available afterwards in the foyer to sign his book, or CDVD's or memorablebelia. But both times he sent some underling called Steve Delaney or some such instead. A shabby way to treat loyal fans in my view.
Yes i have meet Count Arthur though i have not meet his shadow persona or alter ego Delaney.I was lucky enough to film an interview with Phil Salter and the Count, you will find that on here somewhere.
@@mekonta thanks for alerting me mate. I didn't know about that. I've got someone staying with me over Christmas, but if she thinks I'm going to miss that to watch Get My Celebrity Brother Out of this Big Jungle, she'll find me laughing out the other side of her face. Don't you worry about that.
@@martm216 Don't worry if you miss it at that time as it is repeated a few times on 2nd January 2019. Radio 4 schedule: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006rbrr/broadcasts/upcoming "Bobbing along, bobbing along, bobbling along, bobbing, bobbing, bobbing, bob, bob, bob... Oh stop it, idiot!"
I was chatting to Count Arthur the other day in Wilf's cafe. He told me that "Manchester is similar to Doncaster but without the nightlife". Well he should know, I really do.
That's worth knowing: if you write an autobiography about yourself, Faber and Faber and Faber will lend you a typewriter. But they'll want it back straight away.
