@@nk_ing the program does take a while, I currently have a ryzen 5600g, GTX 1660 super and 32 gigs of RAM, for a 24 minutes eposide to upscale to 4k it takes about 9-12 hours, now to 4k 60fps it takes 48 hours, I havent tryed that one yet because it takes too long, and 9 hours could be a good night of sleep xd
It took me times too but i noticed that when i turn on my pc few hours before using topaz it takes me only 5 minutes to render like 1k fps (i have a 4gb) and i move my mouse while rendering or it can freeze or slow down my pc, sometimes i leave after effect open in the background because it speed up my process for some weird reasons
@@ikutie5685, by leaving after effect open do you mean its doing something in the background or just open? I have noticed sometimes when I am upscaling a video and i move the topaz screen around it will suddenly increase the frames by 10-20 frames then suddenly drop down.
@@Arewethereyet69 i just leave after effect like this, sometimes a project file open or sometimes not but i don’t use it because if i do it’s gonna start lagging

dude, i was just thinking the same thing. Ive been trying to improve bleach's horrible visual quality but havent had much luck. This video is huge but i've noticed how much worse the 360p/480p clips look after the process. Will downscaling the bleach episodes to 720p and then re upscaling to 1080p in topaz help with bringing out the lines and sharpness?

В начале 720 сделал 60 ФПС, потом через гигапиксель апскеил, тогда ушло на рендер около недели, если не две.

It all depends on the version of Topaz, for example in video enhance AI 2.3.0 there is.

when i try upscale my 360p clip to 4k i get an error saying "reduce gpu (VRAM) usage". How do i fix it?

I think you have to distinguish the quality by eye then downscale it to that value then upscale it in topaz
