I think Tewkesbury and Enola are a normally decent couple but that dance scene was really the first time I think you could feel the attraction between the two. Honestly the unexpectedly best part of the film.
Kinda wild how the police were just down to fight with a Lord noble. I would think Tewkesbury could just tell them to stop but idk how the fuck shit works in those times so fuck it I guess.
Those police that were fighting them were corrupted.
'Im afraid my dance card is full". "MAY I SEE IT?" Her face lol.
such a psycho haha millie is so funny
He actually said “I love you” then “I fancy you” well that’s what google says
Just Watched - Enola Holmes 2
This was an Extremely Fun Sequel. Millie Bobby Brown is Brilliant once again as Enola, the Mystery is Extremely well Written with Great Action Scenes and there's a Cool Reveal for Sherlock Fans.
Don't miss Mid-Credits Scene.
Okay I'm finally watching Enola Holmes 2, just finished that bathroom scene and I googled what the fan thing Tewksbury did meant and I am SCREAMING
I might mess this up or misunderstood…
But he was reading the language of dance. All of the string connections were types of dances. From that he took to the book to study up the alphabet of dance essentially and was able to assign particular letters to each point of interest based off the info from the book.
I enjoyed it more than the first personally!
I thought the characters all grew and it was great to see more Henry Cavill. I still love Tewksbury. You knew how it would end but I think the will they won't they was cute regardless.
I'm glad Enola is a fantastic detective, but far from perfect.
I like the angle they're going with Enola and Sherlock being intertwined moving forward. Looking forward to more!
Edit: just watched the after credits scene. I think that's the dude from Yesterday, which I quite enjoyed. I can shamelessly say I could watch a million of these if they continue making them. It's just a good, easy watch.
Edit 2: I've heard and probably used "My dance card is full" countless times and only just learned what the hell that meant after watching this movie.
WATCHING ENOLA HOLMES 2 RN 😭😭 THE FAN SCENE HELP THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
For a second there I thought you asked if the address was the same for the BBC Sherlock
This film was such a pleasant surprise for me. I enjoyed the first for what it was but never really thought about it again however this one had no right to be as funny, entertaining and enjoyable as it is. Several moments that at least got a good chuckle out of me mainly coming from MBB who continues to show he natural charisma.
Would love a spinoff with Henry as Sherlock too his portrayal is too enjoyable to just be a side character especially now that Moriaty and Watson are set up in this film.
And lastly I adored the reverence the film paid to Sarah Chapman they of course took some liberates with her story to make it fit this but she is nowhere near talked about enough as an iconic member of the workers reform movement and hopefully this film at least brings a bit more attention towards her.
Film fans may be interested to know that all the House of Lords scenes in Enola Holmes 2 which “drops” today on Netflix were actually filmed at All Saints’ Margaret Street!
It was related to the style of dances in that book, I think there was 27 of them? 27 banks each assigned a letter from one of the dances in the book or something like that.
It was basically a letter of introduction from Moriarty to Holmes, to keep him busy while Moriarty dealt with her other problems.
I really liked it. I will say at parts I actually found Millie a little more stiff at times than the last one - her escape from prison comes to mind - and I think they gave her a few more cheesy lines.
But her chemistry with both Cavill and Partidge were ridiculous. I was waiting all movie for that kiss, and that first scene with Sherlock through the next morning had me smiling from ear to ear.
It was a great story, loved how it was somewhat true to history. And showed the different echelons of London. Honestly mid way I was ready to start googling typhus.
Maybe this is dumb but I thought Cicely’s hair was light ginger?? Am I seeing things? So I kid of always thought it was her. I also liked the moriarty twist but I didn’t get why she just showed up and turned herself in.
I also don’t get how Tewksbury turned the lords around without the burned proof, and why he waited to say hi to Enola in the garden until that day if he saw her a ton. Clearly he “is a man now” but that makes it seem like its been weeks and not a year and a half
Milli bobbie is gay
Wait she is??
I thought she was/is straight??
Wait.... No actually the real life enola holmes was actuality les but since millie si straight they changed it.
