Khatra is not about timing. You put torque on the bow and the release of the arrow makes the khatra happen.

Good to know! I've always been severly confused which side was up... It's first bow I have that doesn't have a designated orientation!
PS - can you provide a link for asiabows? Can't seem to find the site.

Questions for you Dave, 1) what qualities come to your mind when you say resin doesn't behave like glass/laminates, however it is snappy and fast? 2) I haven't had luck finding the min GPP online, did metbows share that information somewhere?

200 grain arrows can be shot, you can shoot very low gpp arrows

I waiting for a hybrid Sipahi from Indonesia, fmade by Abdar Archery. Horn on the belly tikkwood for the limbs and fiberglass for the back, grip and horns are roosewood of some sort. I never even saw a hybrid bow like that before and this one going to be an ultra rare and exotic addition to my collection and the only one on Hungarian RUclips for a long time. I don't even know anybody who have an other hybrid in Hungary. Between 2015-2020 I lived in Scotland and I didn't see one there neither. Do you have any experience with hybrid bow technology in general?

Never heard of resin bows before! This makes my wonder - if you don't mind answering.
Generally colder clmates what bow material(s) would you consider recommending? I'm a thumbshooter with a drawleinght of 33", and I use heavier arrows.
I live in scandinavia, I've shoot korean style laminated bows mostly with carbon fiber as the outer layer. I've actually had my outer layer shatter die to a combination of weather and drawing it too far.

I hadnt heard of them either to be honest. Thats a shame about your bow, i am sure i have seen a video of someone using the bow in the video in snow and being resin it shouldnt damage at all in snow/cold or rain weather.
If you need a longer draw have you looked at manchu bows? Alibow do some good fibreglass bows and they do a manchu bow with like 36" max draw so you wouldnt have to worry about over drawing a bow.
I am unsure how a laminate bow would hold up in scandinavian weather it maybe worth while asking on one of the fb archery pages to see if anyone has experience with laminate bows in cold climates. Here in the UK we are mild weather and wet haha.

Thanks for the reply and recomendations.
I have indeed looked att manchu bows. Yarha 2 seems like a good contestant. I am aiming to get to 80 pounds barethumb anyways so I might as well get a manchu bow.

@@dhanurdhara9311Warriors in the past did not shoot barethumb... Why is that important to you? It is hard to find well-fitting thumb rings, but it is well worth it. Plus, a piece of leather for the inside helps a lot.
