I made the bus trip with thanks for this video. Normally i just get a taxi which is now 1800 baht or hire a car. The bus was 143 baht and took 1 hour 40. I gave 200 baht and they struggled for the change but managed it. The bus leaves on the hour. I was just told to get on the bus and check my bag in with the driver. I got off the bus in North Pattaya and shared a baht bus with another English man for 100 baht each to our own hotels in the North Pattaya area. Thanks for the money saving video
Hi. I’ve seen other videos saying once you’ve bought your ticket to wait at the desk 10 minutes before bus departure. Do you wait here at the desk to be collected or do you (by yourself) head out to the bus outside.
I know at ATM there is a charge of what used to be Baht 400 for the use of the ATM. Normally airport ATM and banks are renowned for giving a really bad rate, would you recommend taking out a small amount at the airport and then when getting to Pattaya making another withdrawal, thus costing you Baht 800 ? Or just paying the Baht 400 at the airport and drawing out a much larger sum which would possibly last you the whole time of your holiday?
The standard ATM fee is 220 baht, I'm not sure if the airport atm's charge a higher fee, because I didn't use them. One way to avoid the fees is to bring cash with you and then exchange at a currency exchange. I can recommend tt currency exchange, as they give good rates. You can find them dotted all around Pattaya.
Thanks for this and I'm going in September, this year, and will definitely use this service. Do you know where abouts Central pattaya it stops, so I can work out how far my hotel will be from there. My hotel is around Central of Pattaya.

I just headed out by myself around 15 minutes before the bus was due to leave.
Where in Central Pattaya does the bus stop? Is it near the Central Festival mall? If I'm lucky I could just walk to my hotel.
Hi mate, the bus stops on Sukhumvit road, so it's not near central festival. You would probably have to get a taxi to your hotel.

It stops on sukhumvit road, I'm not sure exactly where. If you download the bolt app, you'll be able to get a taxi to your hotel for around 100 baht.

Hi I'm not sure what the exact timetable is, but I don't think they start running until around 6/7 am.

@@philiproyle8859 they definitely gave me change, but if they refuse you could always buy a drink at the food court next door.
