I first heard this on some public radio program back in 1989 as, luck would have it, I was painting my living room. It's been stuck in my head till I've heard it a second time just now. Thank you!
That was in Mill City Oregon, on the side of the road that mostly survived the fire

thanks B&B & Brent Hall & company at the Sounding Board, where I used to go so long ago. and now I even *have* a living room!
My favorite song for painting the living room or doing any other chore.
Also, heard on FFRF radio. Excellent! A new fan is born!
You two are great! We need to prioritize. Can't wait to see you on 10/14 at 7p at the Oak Park Library as part of the Mark Twain salute.
Thanks for posting this to RUclips! :-) Robbie Osman played another of your songs this morning on his Berkeley KPFA radio show "Across the Great Divide", so I looked for more here! :-)
Love you two! Will see you in Oak Park on October 14. Can't wait for the performance.
We did a wonderful choral version of this back in the '90's with the South Coast Chorale in Long Beach CA. Still relevant today! I do a lot of work on fair trade issues and the TPP since a visit to La Oroya in Peru where a lead smelting plant has polluted the environment and 98% of the children have lead poisoning at levels 5 to 10 times what's acceptable in the US. The owner of this plant has a 118 room mansion on Long Island and has been making billions on this plant all while he sues the government of Peru for $800 million under the Peru Free Trade Agreement! Keep singing your song!
heard this on freethought radio! Great job! hilarious!
when i was in high school in mount horeb, WI, i did the sound for a performance of yours. now i'm a proud wisconsin raised songwriter myself. you guys are really cute.
Brilliant song!!
