- Taichung Central Park was unlike any other park I ever visited. Even though it was a linear park, the landscaping was gorgeous. When I was there, a lantern festival was being prepared for later in the month.

Really great video for Taichung Central Park! Also, 0:27, it’s the 4th largest park in Taiwan, not in the city. It’s the largest park in Taichung city. And at 2:03, the area the park located at is a redevelopment region called Shuinan Economic and Trade Park, it’s still under development, so many lands are still empty or under construction.
It’s really nice to see all these parks in Taichung
BTW, if you are interested in great parks that many locals enjoy during weekend in Greater Taipei, I would suggest that you can visit Daan Forest park, Taipei Expo Park, 228 Peace memorial park, and New Taipei Metropolitan park! Each park has its own characteristic and features, and I think all of them are worth visiting and discovering!
