I have never done new years resolutions, but my year has been terrible as i broke up with my narcissistic ex who sued me and ran a case on me for 6 months before she lost, i started dating a new girl last month, the first girl in 10 months and she ended up cheating on me and i have also had to come to terms with the fact that my body is heavily damaged due to 2 rare chronic diseases that i have, so i now seek early retirement, so i hope for a better 2020, but so far i doubt it 😅
There really is. It takes me back to being in primary school and the way Sophie like interacts with the camera/me is exactly like the teachers in primary school. I love it so much.
As an adult, we are expected to have a thick skin and be able to deal with slings and arrows but when talking to young children, praise, positive reinforcement, and comfort is the way. It’s just pleasant to be able to experience pure positivity and care, even for 26 minutes, once in a while
When my daughters ask me to put “the whisper girl” on the big tv they run and get their blankets and pillows and lie down on the floor in anticipation. My oldest daughter is 8 and she loves the nurse ones and pen light videos. My youngest is 6 and she loves the motherly ones like the Halloween candy video. Thank you for delighting them.
sophie is literally the perfect school nurse: 1) young so she's easier to talk to than the usual bitter, old nurses 2) actually helps the student instead of saying "here's an ice pack, give it back at the end of the day" 3) very relaxing and caring

My New Years resolution is to take care of me. I lost my mom this year and I cared for her 16 years which was my honor and now I am going to relax and restore my mind, body and soul. Happy New Year's Sophie and everyone else out there as well. Thanks Sophie for all you do.

Definitely not how I was treated when I needed stitches in my knee after being pushed on the black top or tripping over a big rock on the road during PE while running and busting my other knee open. I was given a mint both times and a call to my mom. She had to come and pull me out of class the first time to get me stitches because they said I didn't need it and the second time I was sent home and didn't get stitches when I needed them because my mom couldn't leave work and my grandpa didn't know what to do. Edit: The nurse both of those times was the secretary that wasn't certified to do anything but give out mints and band aids. The school got in trouble for her giving out medicine, even though the state suggested the school cut out the nurse first due to budget cuts.

This is bringing back memories from Primary School. It wasn't a school nurse but one of the dinner ladies - the ones where they walk around the hall at lunch time checking up on the much younger students and helping unwrap/open wrappers. There was this one in particular who everyone called Nanny and treated her like she was their actual grandmother. She absolutely loved it and thought it was cute. The whole time I knew her, I never knew her actual name. I don't think anyone did.
Me: *Walks in with a broken arm, broken leg and two gauges down my eye from a rugby game against sale* Sophie: So, what did you hit to make your face have little cuts all over it? Me: Well, i think the shorter list is what i didnt hit... XD
We never had a school nurse. We went and asked the secretary for a baggie of ice or a paper towel, or to lie on a little leather couch thing that was hard as a rock with a fan on for a tummy ache. In high school there was literally nothing. If you wanted even ice, you'd have to go home to get it.
Had to take the family dog to the vets today and she had to be put to sleep .I was with her and kept thinking about her .Listened to this and it's calm me right down thank you x
