I'm starting to wonder if this park is run by Luigi. Getting records by doing absolutely nothing.
lol
Neither maxx force nor stealth run to their advertised stats though lol. maxx force hasn't gone full power for the public since like 2020
Stealth does run to its advertised stats, maxx doesn’t.
Stealth does
Stealth had to make it go faster to reduce roll backs I heard. I only saw maxx roll back one time
Prove it
As a local Chicagoan I am proud to have this as my home park it’s a place that still holds a lot of great rides some history and is one of the luckiest theme parks in the entire world and I will always adore taking family trips there for years to come 🥰🥰🥰
Opening tomorrow 😜
Same
This park clearly puts the Great in Great America.
Stealth at Thorpe Park in the UK has a 0-80 mph launch in 1.8 seconds
Letting the world fall apart around it lol
This park has a really nice collection of coasters. A little bit of everything and that’s what I love about my home park.
Absolutely. Looking at other six flags parks, we are extremely lucky to have the collection of coasters even if they are only 3000 feet long. Some parks are lucky to an s&s free spin.
2012 x flight
2014 goliath
2017 joker
2019 maxx force (I thought this was a joke when I saw the animation on announcement day in 2018)
@@porkryne72 absolutely! I think more is coming for us as well. They seem to be doing a lot of land clearing and changing things around.
Stealth is faster than Maxx Force (0-80 in 1.8secs)
They got proven wrong bc they lied about it😭
Stealth at Thorpe park has proven to do 0-80 in 1.8 seconds soooo (Beat that America)
1.9 but yes still faster than maxx
Just to clarify maxx force dosent own the record for fastest accelerating coaster stealth does😮
It's an ongoing debate, no one can really agree on one or the other
Stealth at Thorpe park uk beats out max force 0-80 in 1.8 secs :)
Brits: Imma end this man's whole career.
Stealth:
0-80 in 1.8 seconds
Clearly the faster acceleration so Stealth holds that record
It takes 1.9 seconds
@@Subscribetonotnyournormalguy it doesn't. RCDB is outdated and the official stats are exactly what I sent
Fine but maxx still holds fastest acceleration in the nation
in terms of advertised speed you are correct but in terms of actual speed then maxx force is faster
@@VECTOR_CoastersIts not advertised speed, its the actual speed, they sped it up so that it wouldnt roll back
SFGAm wasn't lucky to get the first major Intamin coaster in 12 years after Green Lantern First Flight, which is the Georgia Surfer at SFOG
Raaa lets go sfogggg
Isn’t stealth 0-80 in 1.8 so don’t they have to record?
It’s 1.9
@@itjustjinx8508its not
@@cg_playsdid you time it
Damm we got beef
Also its 1.9
glad that this is my home park, fun fact they've been using the Looney Tunes characters as mascots since Day One(wish they have a proper Looney Tunes area again)
Stealth has the acceleration record now
Actually Stealth at Thorpe Park is the fastest accelerating coaster in the world.
No it’s not Maxx force is faster!
🤓👆
@@Dheast what’s up brother
Thorpe Park claimed the record and even advertises with it now.
My home park has quieted down on the investments since the pandemic but we really have been spoiled rotten. I also respect the park a ton for saving my childhood coaster Little Dipper as it was my first true roller coaster and I used to gonto Kiddieland all the time before they sadly shut down forever. ❤️ 🇺🇸
Brooooo same here. I road this ride at kiddieland before it was moved. Still have my Kiddieland ticket. Crazy one day we just got it for no apparent reason. Great addition with tons of history.
My home park 💪
It’s actually joint first stealth at Thorpe park hose 0-80 in 1.8 seconds
I've only been able to go to this park once on my life, but it was a great visit. Raging Bull was a blast and Batman is a classic!
I have to ask, Airtime Thrills, will you be heading back to Busch Gardens Williamsburg anytime soon? I'm not sure if you've heard since last year, but Loch Ness Monster is opening up in May from an extensive refurbishment that has refreshed portions of the old track for a smoother experience, added 900 feet of brand new track, and added brand new theming elements that hint at apparently getting to actually see the monster on the ride in some form, seemingly in the mountain!
Which ones open more, lightning rod or Goliath?
That’s what I thought
My home park ❤
My home park!!! Still try to go at least once a year. My daughter is going with her graduating class to Six Flags great America on a weekday I’m so jealous she’s going to get on so many rides because the park will be empty that early the season on a weekday. I just hope all the rides are open!!
Maxx force is not the record holder for fastest acceleration. It is Stealth at Thorpe Park
No it’s not😊
Yes it is
Stealth is 0-80 in 1.8 and Marc force is 0-78 in 1.8
@@CoasterManiac2000 stealth takes 1.9 seconds, it’s been confirmed
Its a tie guys
This is my home park and I couldn't care less about records. I just want full length quality coasters. Hopefully that happens with the merger.
Yeah everythings short, but when u ride a 100 ft, 3 minute long RMC... you start appreciating Goliath A LOT more.
@Sonic-gy7kq twisted colossus is a top tier RMC fight me
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od Ay man I never said it was bad. Sure as hell doesn't have an 85 degree 180 ft drop though...
We need a new age vekoma
I hope they replace Superman with something better. It's an alright coaster but has a lot of down time
They aren't going to if it's getting a 2 hour line on a weekday
I really hope six flags gets gravity group to fix up american eagle. You know they would steepen the first drop and sharpen out the airtime hills.
They can actually do that. Gravity Group retracked GASM cuz of how unbearably rough it was
You aren't wrong, but this is my home park, so I'll take the W.
Actually the fastest accelerating coaster in the world is Stealth at Thorpe park not Max force :p
This debate is going to lead to another war between the US and UK😭
Maxx force is just barely faster because it’s 0-78 in 1.8 seconds but Stealth is 0-80 in 1.9 seconds, but the difference is so small they may as well be tied.
Stealth is 1.8
@@OppyThePancakebro actually believes stuff from a company that made people sign waivers for an intamin family coaster
Stealth doesn’t hit that number during operation, only during testing
Love this park they need a b and m giga or a mack hyper or an rmc american eagle or all three though and a better landscape architect. Hmu 🤙
Lightning Rod is in Dollywood. Wtf dude.
I'm pretty sure he was trying to say, "Goliath at SFGA held the record, then it was broken by Lightning Rod at another park, but because Lightning Rod is no longer a wooden roller coaster, Goliath now has that record back."
Kings island????
Dollywood opened Wild Eagle before Six Flags Great America, making Dollywood with the first Wing Coaster in America.
Defunct or not, Maxx Force will never hold a candle to how fast Do-dodonpa got to it's top speed.
For wooden coasters, the fastest was set by Son of Beast at 78mph, even if it is defunct now.
Thats why i said they helped usher in the wing and hyper, they werent the first but they did open theirs the same year it debuted
Stealth at thorpe accelerates faster
No it does not, stealth takes 30 seconds to get to one mile per hour because it is so slow😂😂😂😂😂😂 you just got wrecked kids!😂😂
@@Subscribetonotnyournormalguy if it takes 30 seconds to get to 1mph it goes 1 to 79 in -28.1 seconds still making it the fastest
I'm sorry but Six Flags Over Texas has to be one of the unluckiest parks. There have been no major rides in the last couple of years horrible customer service and an outdated layout.
Im pretty sure over texas is 100% developed that might be a reason also
I got six flagged so hard there last summer. viper and Goliath were great and got a bunch of other credits, paid $20 just to wait 90 minutes for Maxx Force. this is an unresolved customer service issue
The reccord for fastest accelerating coaster is stealth, it does 0-80 in 1.8 so it's faster
I was about to say it but you got there first
That’s not true at all stealth should be the record for the slowest acceleration, Maxx force is way faster!!!!!! Stop the cap kids😂
@@Subscribetonotnyournormalguy bro r u tripping rn or smt?
It's a tie between maxx force and stealth
@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od stealth does 0-80 in 1.8, max force does 0-78 in 1.8, as a result, stealth is faster
Good attendance means more investments…
Isn't really the case for kings island its average at best and yet it's the best park in the chain
Sorry to tell you but the fastest acceleration coaster title actually belongs to stealth at Thorpe park now which is 0 to 80 in 1.8 seconds
SORRY TO TELL YOU THAT STEALTH ACTUALLY TAKES 2.3 SECONDS TO GET TO ITS FASTEST ACCELERATION
Maxx force isn’t the worlds fastest accelerating coaster it’s stealth at Thorpe park going 0-80 in 1.8 seconds
Stealth has the fastest acceleration
Goliath is faster than Steel Vengeance?
Steel Vengeance is a steel coaster, just had wood supports
Goliath is wood track with steel topper while SteVe is all steel track
actually maxx force doesn’t hold the world record stealth at thorpe park does
Stealth at Thorpa Park and Max Force at Six Flags Great america both hold the record for the fastest launch
Stealth has the record not Maxx Force
Stealth takes longer to reach the top speed
love all the angry brits trying to defend their stealth
Its actually a tie between maxx force and stealth
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od it’s really close but they confirmed maxx force has it
Cedar Point has always blown this place out of the water.
They did until they followed protocol and slapped rider height maximums on intamin which sadly are their flagship attractions. That park has been dead to me since 2011
@porkryne72 that's personal
@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od what stinks is b&m is starting to follow suit as well. The wing riders, the new stand-up coaster even the family coasters
Its my home park... I am still baffled we got maxx force. The first air launch (powder keg a 1 off joke basically) in nearly 20 years?! Like why SFGAm lol it makes sense but as an enthusiast since I was born (legit been to this park since I was 3 w/ season pass)... were very spoiled. Only difference between this and dragster is that dragster was much longer and more intense, but this is a very close second. Hydraulic is more rough acceleration while air is smoother.
Stealth at thorpe park ( uk ) holds the world record for fastest acceleration not max force.
Maxx force gets to the top speed faster. Look it up on the internet
Think youll find Stealth at Thorpe Park is faster.......
