    I feel so bad for this dude. This went so deep and really did kill his career, and ultimately his man hood. He did become the butt of all jokes. That other person should go to prison. How evil.

    • @slamandjam2
      @slamandjam2 2 года назад +1

      I wouldn't say ultimately his manhood. Everyone can see that he did nothing wrong now. And he's married to a beautiful woman. But yes, it definitely cost him what should have been a stellar NFL career. And I agree that piece of sh*t should be rotting in jail

  • @RG-nw6kr

    he was isolated from his culture and he was a strict church kid too so he clung to familiarity. And it wasn't 3 straight years they were talking on and off but that last year especially when he was struggling.
    On a side note, y'all find it odd that he fell for that, meanwhile a lot of professional, experienced, well educated people fell for " a white man w/a smile " when it came to Bernie Madoff.

    • @jubei187
      @jubei187 2 года назад

      Absolutely. Kevin Bacon and his wife Kyra Sedgwick were completely broke after Madoff. Steve Harvey, KG and Tim Duncan were conned by their accountants. People get fooled everyday and do lose their livelihood because of it

    • @corning1

      Like you said he was a devout man. I’m sure women were throwing themselves at him at ND. He was in a situation with alpha men in the locker room in the end and I don’t think anyone respected him, just laughed behind his back. Which is very sad because I find it very admirable his choice to wait for marriage. The vast majority do not though.

    I think it's amazing we criticize a guy for getting lied to when we have a whole series dedicated to people getting lied to called "Catfish". It's not some one in a million situation. We have a whole word created to describe what happened and this also happened before people even had an idea of how to explain it. He just got catfished, simple as that. Chill out with the insults and calling him stupid. I bet some of you in the comments have been catfished and don't want to admit it. Lol

    You can only accuse this man of being unconscionably naive. You have to know how he was raised in a closed environment to understand how unsophisticated he may have been. He was tarred and feathered publically, for the whole world to see. That is a punishment, for many, worse than death. He then suffered from anxiety and depression that derailed his career. When the mind is occupied, and seized by negative impulses, the body fills with cortisol, which limits movement. That is a death sentence for an athlete. Just look at the Championship game vs. Alabama following the outing of the scandal. He spent the game on his back as if he was paralyzed. Because he was.
