I remember burning this with a stranger and the dude burned the wrong side. I kept telling them with emotes that he was wrong and half an hour later I had to waste a desk spell and tell him "Dude you need to do the other branch first" and the only answer I got was "Are you sure?"
i was that dude once except i replied with emotes and pretended i didn't know english. rip. but now with more experience i'm ok with burning the tree. yay.

I even spent a candle on them to hold their hand and lead them up to the right side... didn't hold my hand at all and excitedly honked while heading straight (or more like a drunk's straight) to the gate. It is rather cute in hindsight, but boy was I mad at that time. I honked a lot and waited a bit, but didn't follow them to meet the krills.
I didn't realise until the end that you said "Second plant" The entire time I was thinking "Where are the krill? How have you survived this long, with no krill attack?"
Usually, when I do it with strangers, once we start to burn the last plant of the 1st side, I fly straight to the 2nd side so they have to stay where they are 😂 Well, of course if it's a moth they can follow me but shh-
Someone once opened the gate without burning the plant. I was unfortunate enough to be in that server. I then met the most amazing person ever and they helped me burn the plant with krills everywhere. I got a table put over my head (i’m a chibi) and they got krilled about 3 times (with tricks, so no lost lights)
I don’t see a lot of players doing this so I’m sharing my personal plant burning tip here: light someone up if you don’t have friends with you, then use the meditating emote + white candle! It’s very useful if you don’t have a table, or if you keep slipping off the root of the plant :D

I normally just put a torch at the bottom, so they can wait there for me to burn the other side, but hell even when I put a torch there they try to come with me to burn the other side and then the side has been burnt grow back on 😂.
Burning this plant...😂🙌🏻 I used to burn them if i am with my friend or if some other player are trying to burn them I mostly ignore them if i am doing solo candle run.. 😝
Once I was burning the side that has 4 leaves and I was honking so the person will help me but instead they burned the 2 leaves side and not only that they were doing angry emotes also because they thought I'm a magician and somehow I can burn 4 leaves 🤦♀️
