I've never seen one that big!!!😮Chickens LOVE them!!! It'll be cool for the kids to get a black light flash light and hunt for them at night. They glow in the dark!❤
it's called a tomato hornworm they also eat other nightshades like peppers, eggplants and potatoes, a good natural deterrent is cayenne pepper, water and soap, combine them then shake well and spray regularly.
If you see white eggs on the hornworm don't destroy them . Eggs are from kind of wasp, the good guys for the garden. Like that you care enough to place it elsewhere.

Thanks for the good idea for a natural spray! This was the first one to find us! We have cayenne peppers growing!
