Very thorough analysis. I like all the details and insights. I also like the part about empowerment and having the right to speak and ask questions of your elders in the religion.
Really stimulating post!!! I too have "heard" of the pataki of Inle not speaking, but it has always seemed to me it would be like having only half an orisha. As for crowning Inle and Asoano, it is VERY common in Brazil. I have two friends who are crowned directly Asoano or Babalu. There are people that don't know the ceremony and so they fudge it. Thanks again for opening yet another forum of discussion!! Ache do!
Ase. I believe he speaks aswell. I was told, inle may not speak, because of the pataki, of Yemaya removing his tounge aswell. You have very valid points! Light n progress to you! Xo
I agree with you 100% . I as an OLO OSHUN for many years have argued about this in the many time I participated in the giving the orisha . Specialy with we're talking about a diety. Whom which should not have flaws for it is an energy. As in flesh .I've given and I've crowned Eringle and had many talk . Other things I've seen if so called yemalla speaks why is it in the ceremony yemalla is not there or fed .and I've seen this to many times. In the house I came from they do throw he's shells but then say he don't speak. .how could that be. ..lmao.. So oñI åde keep up the work . Ps. I liked the part of yemonya s head cut of and it's true a body with no head has no sences
i dont have problem with orisha i dont read story i read it and asked the orisha in front with my seances. i see orishas and spirits so i asked the directly.
I could understand all that you were saying.you are just fine. Maybe stuttered a few times only because in my opinion you were somewhat excited and very passionate about what you were sharing and teaching.Ashe Ashe✌🏿❤️✊🏿✨🙏🏿🌞🇰🇪👑
Olodumare HAS HONORED YOU W/A VERY GOOD Ori. YOU'RE ONE OF THE FEW PPL ON HERE WHO ACTUALLY THINK. YOU EMPLOY COMMON SENSE AND YOU QUESTION WHICH AS YOU SAID MANY DON'T. EVERYTHING YOU SAID IS SPOT ON. ASE O!
All offerings are great offerings! Fruits. Incense. Songs. Please remember to get my book on amazon.com! Expansion of the igbodun! I totally have ebbos for her in there
Maybe everyone is taking the pataki to literally. Yemaya is older and more powerful and forbids him from speaking. No disrespect I don't question my elders or my elders's elders out of respect for their combined experience of over 100 years of being active priests and Babalawos . They don't have ideas or guesses they have experience. I understand they give me the information I need as I grow spiritually. I don't question I shut up and listen and learn more that way. I am only half seated and I am amazed at how much more I have learned than some who had their crown for years. My godparents are great why because I never argue. Never once have I approached my grandparents with" please help me understand" have they not taught me the information. This is my advice for all godchildren. Some orisha are never crowned like the 401 eshu. My guess is your head would blow up, I don't know. Too my ashe for one head. No disrespect intended I love what you are doing.
WE YORUBAS ARE BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH A RICH CULTURE AND OTHERS ARE PRACTICING IT TOO. NIGERIA IS INDEED BLESSED
