The love between the gods, Yehua and Baichian, is one made in heaven, but played out in stories that span three lifetimes. Qincan is the most evil god of his times. Baichian decides to sacrifice herself and strips Qincan’s magic powers by using all of her enchantment. Baichian loses all her superpowers and her memory, and finds herself in the world of the mundane. In the real world, she befriends Yehua for the first time, and they fall in love. Their love is met with obstacles, however, and heartbroken, Baichian jumps off a cliff and drinks a potion to forget Yehua. Centuries later, on the shores of the East Sea, the lovers meet again. Yehua recognizes Baichian at once and decides never to let her go. Unfortunately, a jealous rival shows up, and misunderstanding once again tears them apart. In their third life, Qincan comes back to life to threaten the world. Yehua has no choice but to kill Qincan to protect the people, but he ends up sacrificing his own life. After three agonizing years, Baichian finally reunites with Yehua, who has miraculously come back to life, and the two lovers live happily ever after. Their romance is one that truly stands the test of time.

Love this. Ye Hua is clearly confused, but also clearly very decisive and accustomed to being in command. He won't push her too fast, but he WILL get to the bottom of things! Poor little A Li is also confused - and of course Qian Qian has none of Su Su's memories so she is totally clueless. What a setting for things to get complicated, quickly!! LOL

I really love this Drama. I must congratulate the Chinese people for
1)They used most of their significant actors
2)they try to give us the glimpse of what spirituality(heavenly reign), could be
3)The imperfection of the world that we live
4)The unseen aspect of Nature(like the ghost world).
In fact, I not only learn, but I am addicted to this movie for a lot of reasons beyond my explanation.
The movie isn't just mere movie just for entertainment, but encompasses both Spiritual, and Physical nature of existence.

I love that when the idiot princess is dancing to try and seduce Ye Hua, he doesn't even see her until Bai Qian points it out. Then he refuses to look at her. You would think these women would get the point. He makes it clear he isn't interested. Except for Bai Qian, then he's very interested.

Second time watching this drama and this is still the best episode for me. The dreamy encounter after a long period of despair 3:54, the I'm-not-Bai-Qian lie 25:48, the no-you're-not-running-away-from-me chase 26:58, the minute-long holding hands 27:12, Ye Hua's micro-expressions (whether they're one of surprise 3:54 14:40, sadness 15:29 20:00, amusement 26:08, I-don't-care-about-other-women look 30:27, or loyal love for Su Su 40:39) ... everything about this episode is just perfect. The range of emotions gave us a dizzying rollercoaster ride. And with our little Riceball A-Li acting as matchmaking cupid, who can resist laughing in these cute scenes?

A Li is so adorable.. ML acts up Ye Hua very very well everything in the drama his step, breathing, appeared mature & well brought up all portrayed well not just the actor but also the director & cameraman did great job.
The difference & similarities in Susu & baiqian , both brave , kind, loyal , daring &determination in love & breakup, yet the difference in aura BQ brought up as a queen she is no way letting herself bully by her maid or the evil SuQin. BaiQian still help Her maid in times of real need even though she say harsh words to her show her masked kindness just like Susu, but she masked it so that others dont take advantage.

@@ms25risa4 they did choose a little girl to play A Li in ELOD not sure why. Hummer Zhang was too old by the time they started filming but you would think there were other boy actors. I did watch it all because I loved the book but was disappointed. It seemed too juvenile compared to Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms.

I lost track of the times I have watched this series in the past 3 weeks since I came across it. This series is on my list of CD to watch even though I prefer RomCom to get distracted. I wish they would have included the wedding day celebration, and the Heavenly Father, the YH's father and mother apologizing to BQ for the treatment she received from them. I know part of the mess up was SJ influence with the, but regardless they were unwordly beings unlike humans that shoot and then ask questions, they are supposed to have some sense of knowingness. But this is my favorite episode.

Can you imagine being Ye Hua and seeing your dead wife, (is actually a high Goddess), but she doesnt know or remember you. I feel like Ye Hua's tears in this scene as he watches Bai Qian, is a mixture of love and heartbreak. The human he was in love with was actually an immortal all that time...and it is so sad because Ye Hua (sort of) realizes everything they went through could have been avoided if SOMEONE, ANYONE from the Qing Qiu or the Peach Blossoms forest had recognized Bai Qian, that whole trial would have been finally over. But no one recognized Bai Qian. The high God of the Peach Blossom forest did not recognize her, Feng Jiu did not recognize her and the Ghost Lord did not recognize her, although I think he was the closest to figuring it out until his wife gave birth. Ye Hua is still trying to convince himself that Bai Qian is Susu, but it takes a while for him to fully believe it.
