- Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson, Gary Player and Annika Sorenstam teeoff as the legends of golf play an exhibition round at the Insperity Golf Seniors Tour event in the Woodlands, Texas on May 4, 2024.
Well, what do you know, Gary Player is starting to show a little bit of age at 175! Absolute golf royalty there folks.
That's some golfing royalty right there folks!
Being an avid golfer turning 60..think about my 80 yr old Dad/Jack now at 85 and how difficult it is for them to play now especially when your a professional/scratch golfer for all your life. Age catches up but Im going to excercise as much as I can to keep my game as long as I can. It will really get me eventually also.
Golfing greats
Jack just needs to stand there. The end
absolutely !!!
Exactly. 🏌♂️
Time……. Finds all, age with grace like these guys have …
Watson looks like he could compete in at least one of the majors again. Swings still there
Watson is 10 years younger than Nicklaus and Trevino who are both the same age, and I believe 13 or 14 years younger than Player. Watson is in his mid 70's. He retired from golf once he realized he couldn't hit the ball far enough to compete anymore.
@@BestEachDayHe also had full shoulder replacement about 2-3 years ago after a fall from an ATV with his grandsons. Until then Watson still had a beautiful full turn swing.
Player is a testament to physical fitness and the benefits of a lifetime of taking care of himself. In his 90’s now and can still front kick about chest high.
@@lancemanyon7645Watson had a hip replacement about 15 yrs ago.
Annika crushed it
Jack aged a little while they read his long list of accomplishments.
Golden Bear GOAT
Yup
Sorenstam is as tall as all 3 men
This video clearly shows the true meaning of the words, “LEGENDS OF GOLF”.
Really do LOVE Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, the late Arnold Palmer and Anneka Sorenstam.
Although a legend, I don’t particularly like Tom Watson.
Nice to see Jack playing golf again. I know he says he doesn't like playing anymore because he can't play well, but still, it's great to see him out there.
Except he didn't!
Well, he could beat me.
Did you not notice he didn't actually hit a ball?!?
@@mitchmitchell80 Yes, but if he did, he could still beat me.
Nicklaus didnt age quite as well as Player or even Trevino did he?
No, he didn't. It might be, in part, his artificial hip(s).
Nicklaus more interested in the brunch buffet these days.
@@randyorr9443 he's 84 flipping years old! You'll be in his condition in a blink of an eye! w/o all his accomplishments.

I was not intending to knock Nicklaus even though i read my comment it does come off that way . I was trying to marvel at how well Player and Trevino have defied age at 88 and 84 respectfully. They both have very regimented training and diet routines that are really paying of now. My apologies to the great Jack Nicklaus sir.
No apologies necessary. He’s fat
jack hit an air ball?
Never really cared for Watson.
Watson was awesome - unbelievable ball striker , similar to Norman & Price - back in the 70’s at the range , u did not have to look to see who was practicing- you could hear a shot and know it was struck by Tom Watson - the guy almost won a major at age 59 !
@@applegreen4118 you’re right. He was
@@applegreen4118 My favorite all time golfer.
The guy in 1991 that eagled both 13 and 15 at Augusta National? No one has accomplished that since
Then you don't care about golf. Watson won the Brisish Open 5 times and nearly a number 6 at age 59. What a hack.
